1st time watcher. I fah-reaking LOVE you! Your energy, plants in the background, just everything ❤! I LOVE my plants, I've gone plant crazy! They bring me joy & peace because otherwise, there is none in my life, at...all. My rattlesnake, "gur-blaca-de-blah whatever" is struggling, bought from L*w*s, & leaves are turning crunchy. Soooo, doing alot of research on this plant & came across your video. If I could grow as a profession & get out of the working environment I'm in, I would be SOOOOO happy

Whoa nice plant room bro. So what's up you got plant light bulbs in your ceiling or something or are all those plants like .. fairly low light? Sorry I don't know much about house plants yet. I use fish tank water for all my plants though and they love it. Btw chlorine will off gas by just leaving the water out. Overnight to be safe and surface agitation will expedite the process
Would using Brita filter water be okay to use?

Hi 👋 I just found this video. And I want to tell you how beautiful your rattlesnakes are. 😍 I've killed two already and now have decided to give #3 a try. I got mine from a nursery about a month ago. He had 3 leaves coming in. But they won't unfurl. I only water and mist him with rainwater. I also have him beside a humidifier and I group him with my other humidity loving plants. I don't know what to do. 😕 He's so handsome. But I don't understand why he won't open up for me 🤷🏼 Please help to help him. Thanks.

24 hour waiting on water evaporates the chlorine however the chloramine will need any fish conditioner drops.. one tiny bottle of prime would last a year for $5. 2 drops per gallon is all you need to undo all the bad chemicals. I say start a fish tank but at the minimum get primal fears! Prime!

Hey lovely :) silly question: how/why are your rattlesnakes with such long leaves? Does it mean it's a more mature plant? Mine is healthy and thriving, but no leaves are longer than 3 inches.
I know this is old but maybe give it a lil more light. I know my plants get bigger leaves when they get more light. 🖤🪴💜
Leaving water out to let the chlorine evaporate is something from before the millennium that fish ta k people used to do. Chlorine has been replaced with chlorine ammonia hybrid called chloramines that never evaporate

What about the leaves closing or curling inward . Not crispy but curling shut ?
Great question! It might be too hot or low humidity. It sounds like the plant is trying not to dry out, or lose water.
