  • Modern warfare is becoming ever more technically sophisticated. Modern large-scale weapon systems such as the army's Leopard 2 battle tank, the air force's Tornado fighter-bombers or the navy's destroyers are the showpieces of the German armed forces. But the war in Ukraine in particular shows how important, well-equipped and trained infantry soldiers still are in modern warfare. In this documentary we introduce you to the lethal armament and operational scenarios of the German armored infantry, paratroopers, snipers and the KSK special forces.

    Greetings from Russia, Germans always had stylish soldiers. I have visited Germany several times and each time I was so impressed with German nation, these people have a great culture and very accurate. Unfortunately, because of some mad politicians we have fought each other in the past. That must never happen again. I hate what our furer Putler is doing right now. We have to do everything not to happen the brutal war happen again between our nations.

The "old guards" likes G3 or American M14 and the classical FN FAL are maybe not that "tactical" (of course they could be modified, I see), but beautiful and robust. Some of my German friends said that the old NCOs loved G3, as they did their Wehrpflicht. Perhaps because they were Gebirgsjäger at that time. 🙂

    The G 36 is planned for general infants especially, being the G27 battle rifle telescope plus silencer and laser pointer for nocturnal bad weather conditions, designed for closer contact special forces heavy-duty tasks. It's an impressive lightweight weapon.

    • @74Darkman
      @74Darkman ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have never fired it and it looks impressive, but i would for certain not call it a lightweight weapon when it weighs in at 4.4-4.7 kg. Imagine the weight of all the accessories you and the video talks about. Carrying a rifle weighing at eg. +5kg is alot. And most often all the attachments are just extra pointless weights. Compare it to an actual "lightweight" 5,56 carbine instead that weighs just above 3kg. It as they describe it a "light support weapon".
      Sizewise it is fairly close to the old G3 (which i have extensive training with) rifle, which nowadays is in use as eg. a DMR rather than an assault rifle.
      Personally i wouldn't use a heavy and bulky AR into close combat. The whole purpose with a rifle like that is to keep distance. In CQB you need to be agile. On the plus side is the 7.62 calibre though.

      The first M16 (A1) weighed only 2,89 kg, while the A4 version weighs 3.4 kg.
      The whole idea behind the M16 is just lightweight. It's made of mainly aluminum and plastics (barrel, bolt+carrier is steal).
      That is about 30% less than the G27.

Using some of the countries that need new industrial jobs in the EU members who need it most and with the free trade and open travel you can spread it our amongst several members. They kind of are, aren't they? Spring power at the end of the pins keeps them in place.
      In order to remove a pin, you have to overcome that spring pressure fully by (a) pushing the pin on one side and then (b) pulling the pin from the other side -> Unlikely that this could happen by accident.
      Also, you can increase the thightness of the trigger group by placing tapes on the sides. This way, removing the pins requires A LOT of force.
      However, if you are talking about cleaning in the field, i fully agree: Captive pins would be nice. However, pretty sure, due to the design of the gun, this is not possible -> The plastic does not leave enough space.
