I would really love to see a gardening 101 video. Where you can show us just exactly how you garden. From the type of soil, garden beds, brand of seeds, fertilizers and just everything you need to start a garden. I would love to start a garden one day and a video like this would be very helpful. I absolutely love your garden and your passion for it, and it has ultimately inspired me. Thank you so much sweet Allison for making videos like these. 💖
You’re such a joy and a blessing to watch, tag along with and learn from. Thank you for taking us on your journey through life 🩵 You’re such a role model for me and I’m sure to many others! I love how your videos, stories & posts give out a lot of positive vibes 🤍🌸 I can’t believe that Palmer turns 3 tomorrow 🐕🦺
Allison, If you grind up your egg shells before putting them in the garden they will work much better. As they are or even just crunched up some more will take forever to break down. I actually dry the coffee grounds and mix with the powdered egg shell along with other things for our compost.
I just love the planning you do ahead of time with beautiful intentions for your gardens. Every year your gardens are beautiful. My favorite part is the butterflies of course! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Thank you for the beautiful garden day video and prepping for spring! I’m looking forward to the new florals 🐛🦋🌸come to life in your garden 🪴. I think the outdoor shower idea sounds fun for the warm sunny days ahead.
Happy Frog soil is amazing! It’s all we use. It was made for cannabis growers but it works so well with everything! You’ll notice a big difference this year with everything you plant!
Good morning, Allison! I love watching your videos every Monday and Thursday morning because it's so inspiring and relaxing to watch, and it helps me be a bit more focused on what to do throughout the day and your editing is so creative and aesthetically pleasing 🌞💕
Yes .sweet potato would go there..and green beans..watch the sun. You always need about 4-5 hours and..sweet 1000 from Home Depot. Best cherry tomatoes!!
Allison, This was such a pleasure to watch! I so enjoyed watching you plant up so many of your upcoming flowers, I cant wait to see updates on there progress for sure! Of course Palmer, was so adorable walking towards as if to say.. "Mommy whatcha doing"? Your backyard is such an oasis now. It really is such a welcoming and relaxing lot to just forget about all the troubles and conflict of this broken world. Thank you for this gift that you have created for everyone to have the opportunity to just have a few moments to block everything out and just relax with a cup of coffee or tea!❤
Your garden will do AMAZING with that soil!!🌿 I’m excited to get out into my garden also I hope I can make my videos as dreamy as yours✨ thank you for the inspiration🫶🏼
We bought several second hand serving bowls and scattered them in the garden. We filled them with water for the woodland visitors! Fun to watch the birds enjoy a bath and the squirrels and rabbits get their drinks. But if you do this, make sure you put some stones on one side so the bees and butterflies can also enjoy.
Oh how your video makes me linger over beautiful memories of our Lakeland, Florida yard that I filled with all kinds of unique plants...the air was perfect this time of year! We lived near Lakeland Linder Airport and used to see the hot air balloons and air shows soar over our house...thank you for being so positive and passionate about whatever you do! You are appreciated far and wide! 🥰 Happy early Galentine's Day!
Hello Allison What a beautiful day to garden! So excited for you! Your choice of flowers are so pretty and whimsical, love it! I can't wait to see how everything turns out! Wishing you much success ☺️ Thank you for the wonderful inspiration. We will be planting in our garden soon and you gave me some great ideas! Wishing you a lovely Spring full of love, laughter and much joy🌻🪻🌷🌼🦋💖
I’m a flower farmer, if you love zinnias check out the varieties that just got released this year from Floret Flower. They are pastel/blush mixes and are so beautiful.
You won't regret an outdoor shower. We have one and they really are amazing. And kids love them. Plus keeps bathroom cleaner. Great after a beach day as well.
Like 37👍.The weather is finally brightening up in the UK. You always make the sunshine every Spring Allison🌼🌸☀️, wishing you and Brandon a happy Pancake and valentines day this week🥞🩷
Never plant mints or wisteria in the ground. Vines, they trail EVERYWHERE underground and come up everywhere you don’t want them and you can’t get rid of them! Likewise, chives in the ground self seed and blow EVERYWHERE!
I can’t believe your planting already! Here in Kentucky our best time to plant will be mid April or after Mother’s Day! Just to be on the safe side for flowers! It depends on what you’re planting! You are a meticulous gardener, I usually just throw my seeds in🤣
Great video! I’m in zone 9 b too (Land O Lakes, Fl). Definitely inspiring me to get my Spring garden going! Happy Frog soul is the best, you’ll never want to go back to using any other soil after it.
Allison thank you for that beautiful gardening video. I can’t wait to start mine but the weather is not ready for me yet. Your videos are so peaceful and relaxing!!
" To plant a garden, is to believe in tomorrow. " Audrey Hepburn. One of my favorite quotes. Allison, Have you ever planted Moonflowers ?. I've been planting them every year for about 4 years now. Absolutely gorgeous. I love your moon phases stepping stones !.
Happy Monday, darling Allison! What a joyous and precious vlog!!! Your garden is gorgeous. May you have a beautiful, blessed and peaceful week. Happy birthday, sweet Palmer! 🌻❤
As a fellow Floridian, I sometimes don’t know what to plant. Thank you for the inspiration. Btw, I planted lettuces like you suggested and they are thriving. We’re having a lot of yummy salads.
Loved watching this while getting my seeds started in soil blocks - we are zone 8a so I will need to wait a bit until I can bring them outside. But this was so nice to watch....cant wait for the growing season 💐
Great video! A tip: grind up those egg shells with the coffee grounds and integrate them into the soil instead of just placing them on top - that's going to actually improve your soil. You're not going to get the impact you're looking for if you just put them on top of the soil like that! Happy planting!
I cannot believe I just saw a cup from the a Lenox Stoneware collection in your opening screen!!! I have the same collection which I chose when we were married in 1975. In fact, our wedding bouquets even contained daisies and my dress was champagne white with a yellow bow.
Such a lovely start to the garden. ✨🎉🙌 I'm going with a very beige and pink color pallet for my garden this year and so excited to plan and map it out soon! Must be so exciting to have such an early start to the season 🎉😍
Thank you for always being an inspiration! You have inspired me to try and grow cherry tomatoes and sweet peppers this season. Live in an apartment so my small balcony will have to do, wish me luck! lol
As always LOVE your videos! They are just so comforting, always look forward to see what you are up to. How fun is that! I bought seeds as well and will experiment this season. I have also Persian Jewels - Love in the Mist, but I have mix and zone 9a (Jax) look forward how they grow in your area. And Zinnias! oh I have Cupcake Pink Zinnia and made me think of you ❤ Good luck and look forward for your garden updates!
I just want to know what kind of childhood you had. lol. I’m probably 10 years older than you and no where near as put together/creative/efficient/lovely. Great video! I absolutely love Zinnias and sunflowers too. They add so much life and color to a space!! We got too busy to put forth much effort in our garden this year, but we had a ton of volunteer zinnia/sunflowers pop up like crazy from last year. It motivated me to do some succession planting!! I’m a new subscriber…. Thanks for the effort you put into your videos. It’s so enjoyable to see!
Hey Allison I’ve been watching you for a while now and I enjoy watching your channel ❤️ you and ur husband is one of my favorite couples and I love your dog Palmer he such a cutie ! ☺️ I’m a dog mom myself his name is boss and I am 27 years old and I admire your aesthetic and everything and I wish u more blessing your way for your channel and you should plant some sunflowers 🌻 it would look cute in your garden mixed with Hawaiian 🌺 flowers and roses 🌹 and daisy’s 🌼 💛 just a small recommendation. Enjoy your day!
Might be too late since you taped it…but it be a good idea to mod podge the beautiful picture you created! You can buy water proof mod podge. I used it for some cute garden decor I made and it’s held up for two seasons now! Happy gardening 👩🌾 🌻🌻
I’m not 100% sure if this, but I think you may need a second elderberry bush from a different plant (not a cutting of your current one) to pollinate and produce berries? Again, not 100% sure, but may be good to look in to!
I always enjoy your videos, especially these gardening ones! I can't wait to see as everything begins to come up and flower :) Just curious, but are the palm trees along the fence "Christmas" palms? They are so pretty!
Pine trees live in acidic soil, meaning everything that doesn't like acidic soil is not gonna grow under it (all the plants you showed don't like that) and same effect do the leaves of the pine trees, so if you wanna have success esp in the garden behind which looked full of those you have to remove them and probably correct the soil pH. Or plant acidic soil loving plants. Also a point to the egg shells and coffee grounds: egg shells relieve calcium so they're good to balance the pH, coffee grounds on the contrary, shouldn't be used in an already acidic soil or with plants that don't love that soil. You can measure your soil pH with litmus paper (idk if it's called like that where you live)
My daughter thinks you are a real life princess... and I'll have to agree 100%.
I also agree 🥹🫶
YES
I agree too!!
What an adorable thing to say. 🤗🧚♀️
I agree too !

could you do a video and share how you started/made your garden planner? Love the idea of something physical to add to every year
I watch these every night before I sleep, they are my lullabies. I always feel peaceful. They send me to bed. They are like my snacks. 😅
Allison,

Hi!! I love your videos so so much
I'm in Canada the winter season is very long i cant wait for the summer mai or juin to start gardening 🌱🌼🌺🏵🌿.
Get some mushroom compost .if you can find it. Great to mix in the soil.
Your video is so nurturing! Very beautiful

I love Gardening I’m So happy I came across you on my page! 🌷🌷🌷🌷can’t wait to see how everything grows !
Hello I am ready for some planting but our weather here in Texas is still up and down. So we are waiting a little bit I did start cleaning up.🏠🏠🏠
Great soil! Also, don’t plant your sweet potatoes in the ground. It’s a vine, it will wind up everywhere.
I’m not 100% sure if this, but I think you may need a second elderberry bush from a different plant (not a cutting of your current one) to pollinate and produce berries? Again, not 100% sure, but may be good to look in to!
As your showing springy stuff, my dog is in the yard jumping around in a foot of snow
my grandma has the same mugs that you used in the intro :)
