    Good morning thank you for a very informative video. My question is, my charger is charging,but when I first plug it in the amp meter does not go to zero in the first five seconds of being plugged in. It goes straight to 18 or so and in 12 hours it gets to around five and stays there and never cuts the charger off. Thank you Pat

      Also, do you have water in your batteries? And how old are your batteries?

      Same as yours. Power wise ezgo. Yes batteries test good static and under load.

      Normally it’s a battery issue. Has the charger been working good the whole time. And this problem just started. Also, have you checked the water in batteries.

    Help. I moved and the movers damaged my charger. I replaced the power cord, capacitor and 50a fuse. All checked good yesterday. I plugged it in 9.25.22 and nothing. Screwdriver across the two relay terminals and it arced. What do I do now?
    I checked the battery voltage last week. 4-6v. Water levels were low and I added water. I think they must have banged it really hard. The power cord terminals were bent. It worked fine the day before I moved and had a final full charge the morning of the move. It's been sitting waiting for the charger to be repaired for 1 month now.

      When it arced did the charger come on

    • @Golfcartwhisperer
      @Golfcartwhisperer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When it arced did charger come on. If so did you bypass the black wire from board to the tan wire from dc cord on transformer. If you bypassed wire. Then you have a bad module board.

    I have a Yamaha charger(2015 drive) that starts off showing red and yellow lights like it’s charging ( clicks like it starting to charge)
    Few hours later or next morning I go back to check on it and all the lights on the charger are blinking together. I checked all the batteries and they are good. Any suggestions?

      @@brettl6747 my bad was to supposed to say oem. Meaning a factory board. Not one off Amazon. Also do you have water in the batteries. How long are you keeping it charg? Do you have a power wise one charger or 2?

    • @brettl6747
      @brettl6747 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do keep water in batteries. It is not an oem board. I am also not sure which power wise it is but it did have the 2 boards that I replaced with the 1 board so I would assume it's the power wise 1.
      I tested the batteries voltage with no load and they read 38v and each battery tested 6.5v. I need to jack it up and test it under load. Could you tell me where to get a good oem board? The one I bought was from Amazon and I have a feeling it's defective.
      Thanks

    I'm tearing my hair out on this problem. My Ezgo charger won’t charge the cart - the meter shows zero amps. The charger turns on when plugged in and the internal parts all seem to check out - transformer has current, diodes have current, capacitor looks good, continuity for wires in the cable from charger to battery terminals is good. I bypassed the charger meter and still no juice to the batteries. Batteries seem good - I can charge them independently and they hold a charge.
    Any ideas?
