If I'm getting no voltage to the activation wire for the solenoid when I press the gas where do I go first? The pack voltage is good and the batteries are new and charged. I checked continuity on the pedal switch when pressed and it is working. This is a very good video.
Yes it seems fixed but it took a new controller. I went with the Navitas Controller as it gives diagnostics to the phone app so it should make troubleshooting any future problems easy.
What’s the symptoms of a bad motor 36 volt? Motor like stutters and sometimes smell a burnt smell. All batteries are good. Golf cart takes a while to take off and get to speed.
There's no clicking it's fully charged I'm showing 6 volts in batteries and 12v in 2 when I was jumping them I don't know if it is the ITS or solenoid thank you for the reply I just got back home

@@jusballen2825 sounds like a motor issue. When you say solenoid click in forward or reverse. Are you meaning it clicks when you hit the gas. Or clicks by turning key on. What does overall battery show when you hit the gas. On the main positive and main negative
@cpfans90 motor just got rebuilt, new brushes, internals were ground and lathed then varnished by local electric motor guy? Solenoid clicks, after key is on then placed in f or r? Or if in forward or reverse it clicks after you turn key on. Motor goes on and shutters on its own not pressing pedal, if I wiggle the 10 pin stock harness to the controller motor stops shuttering. But the back up buzzer turns on after key on, in forward or reverse? What is going on man, thanks for the help

Hi there!! My dummy brother unhooked all the wires for the silinoid area. Do you have a better angle or video that shows what goes where. Thank u in advance
1- if all the voltages in the video check right replace the controller. 2- if you have 14 volts dc going to the black wire. And nothing coming back on the white wire. Replace the its in the floorboard. The white wire should read 1.4 volts dc at full pedal 3- if you have voltage on the red wire in the 4 pin plug and 0 volts coming from the green wire. Replace the Microswitch in the floorboard.

I have the same 36v cart. I have a clicking solenoid with no forward or reverse movement. I followed all of your instructions on troubleshooting. My voltage on B positive to M negative is 36 V all the time. I only have 36 V to the lower post on the F&R switch when in forward or reverse. In neutral I have 36v on the bottom and 22V on the side posts and 0 to the top post. Any ideas? Thanks
Jack the cart up and jump b- and m- on the controller with a battery wire and hit the gas. But be careful. It will run wide open. If it runs then. Controller is bad. If it don’t run replace the f n r board

If you’re getting voltage on the sol in all the areas. With the black lead on the main negative. There’s. Nothing wrong. You will get bleed over from the resistor. And the controller. Ow if you’re putting your black lead on the blue wire and red lead on the yellow wire you have a problem. What’s your cart doing.
Have a question having trouble with my E-Z-Go golf cart my motor is making a clicking noise and the reverse beeper was going off while it was in neutral and the starter solenoid was clicking without the key being on just sitting there trying to solve the problem it won’t move

Have an 05 ez go txt. Installed amazon 500 amp controller and 400 amp solenoid. Click from pedal and doesnt move. Voltage for the black wire is at .2 and drops to 0 with pedal. White wire at .5 then 13 after pedal. Cart worked before the controller and solenoid upgrades. Solenoid and battery pack voltages all check out. tried switching the black and white wire thinking maybe the wiring diagram was wrong but didn't help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

@@ArielR-e5j what year is the club car. If you see sparks on the sol. That means that there is a loose wire on sol. And that the sol is bad. If you see sparks coming from the gear lever. That means the solenoid is stuck closed. So replace solenoid
Hey bubba. I just got a 1995 ego medalist. It had bad batteries. So I just replaced batteries. I was backing it up just a bit and then it stopped and wouldn’t go forward or reverse anymore. I did these tests up until the end. And it doesn’t give me anything. Now if I have red on left and black on right. And put it in neutral I get a voltage. Please help:/ thanks

I have a 2015 rxv that the brake locked up when driving. I could not get the brake to release by putting in tow or by reversing connections 1 to 3. I installed a new brake but still not getting voltage to the brake. Any idea what causes this ?
Run you a wire from main positive to small post on solenoid where yellow wire is and let me know what it does. Put in run in forward with key on and hit the keys.
Tie all 4 of the tow switch wires together. Also what voltage does the 2 red wires on the bottom left in the main harness show. Black lead on main negative

@jorgec3176 k. Now run a jumper wire from main positive. Since you have them 4 tied together and see if it runs. If it doesn’t run after that. Do another test. Will tell you if it doesn’t run

@@Golfcartwhisperer It just continues to speed up and slow down intermittently I fiddled with the fwd/rev switch control wires and it seemed to change a little bit The top left connection seemed just a "little bit" loose and slightly discolored Not knowing for sure I can't hardly afford to parts change in the present economy
There’s only one thing that could be that is your throttle position sensor. I would take the floorboard up look on side of the pedal. Make sure all your connections are good and get your voltmeter out. put it on ohms. Take the lead of your meters and put one on the green wire and one on the blue wire hit the gas. See what homes it shows if that does nothing. Then take your leaves put on the green wire and the blue wire hit the gas. See what ohms read. hold it in a steady spot and if it fluctuates then your throttle sensors bad
Yes I have a tow switch if the switch is on tow no power in both white, yellow wire dark blue grey orange green . I do have power at green with black both orange wire if I turn tow switch to run I have power

I ran through your diagnostic on a 97 ezgo and got stuck at the second thing. I literally have power to every leg in the FNR switch. I labeled the 4 wires like a clock. I'm sure they are on right. As for the other 12 volt wires, it was a different setup

When you hit the gas in forward. What does your bottom and top post on the f n r board have. Black lead on main negative.
If your top post and bottom post have voltage. Your f n r board is bad.

What does it mean if you get power on the solenoid in all tested areas without pressing the accelerator pedal(full 36v)

The solenoid seems normal and the brake will not release when 1 and 3 are hooked up

Measures 53 volts. It's a RoyPow 51 volt 105 amphr lithium battery

My golf cart won’t start, it’s a 2003 EzGo pds and I check voltage on tow and run switch and only two read 36v (the red and white wire)

2013 ez go cart won’t move. The beeping noise stays on in reverse, neutral and forward. Change the ignition switch and still does the same.

Zero volts there with 1 and 3 connected with the key on or off or with tow switch in the run or tow positions
when ever you connect one and 3 you should have 48 volts dc. on the harness side of the brake plug.
And if you don't, such as in my case ?

There was. Nothing bad on this cart. I was just giving you a complete voltage test on the whole cart and described what each voltage should show.
