And for Usopp to shine and all the lore to continue and to even see a whats going to happen to Vegapunk since he's on The Sunny as well. Love your videos Artur! Thank you!!!
I'm pretty sure Oda intends for Emet to be the bridge between Luffy and the past, which I love. I was always wondering what would motivate Luffy to topple Imu and the WG since he doesn't care about backstory, but "these are the guys who crushed Emet's friends' dream!!" is so simple and perfectly in character, I can already see it lol.
Ever since Ive joined this channel you have just put out high quality work to explain everything from the most minute of details to the whole concept. I appreciate this. Then you go on to add some TOG music at the end from a story I consider to have almost as good world building as One Piece, but the Korean version. Thank you!

Given the pacing of time in the New world and our proximity to the end, it isn't a stretch to think that reaching his goal might be Luffys 20th birthday present
10:32 its so It's surprising to think that how much the time the stawhats has spend in post time skip, The fact that the time that has passed is only around 2 months. But lets see: Sabaody to the end of Dressrosa end about 7 days, Zou is 3 days, the Overall of WCI is 6 days, Wano is around 40 days, From Wano to Egghead was exactly 6 days, and now Egghead on its self, takes 2 days, that's 64 days!! Still tho not included the time spend from Dressrosa to Zou, and Zou to WCI, cause its still to vague of a timeline, which could add up to 70 days+. But the fact that the crew went from infamous missing rookie at the early of post time skip, to yonkou crew only under 3 months, they are clearly speedrunning their pirate career
I really enjoyed egg head personally. Especially because it challenged characters and readers of "Is Luffy even fit to be a emperor" and we find out that he absolutely is. It's why we seen shanks win against kid and blackbeard win against law and luffy not their bounties may be the same but strength wise, luffy is on a different level and his win against kaido was his and his alone regardless of the help he got it didn't amount to his actual win

Buccaneers were the ones who built the Noah. They were excellent shipwrights. Their crime was to make the Noah and Joy Boy's pirate ship. This is a parallel with Tom who built the Oro Jackson and got executed for it
I think we'll get 2 or so more chapters of character reactions and aftermath, specifically on Kuma's fate and Lilith. It feels like stealth mode/memory wipe would be something she would be aware of and curious why Shaka and Pythagorus would use.
10:05 - Govt sent CP5 to Egghead to investigate and Straw Hat dove into Fishman Island was happened at the same time! Bruh, is that for real?! We felt it like decades ago.
When I started Egghead, first with the anime, I commented in the comment section after a the first couple of episodes that this is shaping up to be the best arc in all of One Piece. Glad that I wasn't disappointed. And I am saying this now, when the best is yet to come for the anime.
Anyone here curious about Im's servant in 5:59 ? He/she/they could be seen in previous chapter in almost every Im's chamber scene. Oda may gives us more hint that it's not only Gorosei who knows about Im existence. There could be others, like the servants.
I agree that Egghead was one hell of a ride from beginning to end, but now we've got Elbaf to look forward to which has the potential to be even more insane as, at the very least, Ussop will become the first Straw Hat to realize his personal dream. In other words: Let's fucking gooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
I've been reading and watching your analysis videos since the beginning. Egghead has been incredible, and I've been waiting for Elbaf for a long time. Endgame piece is crazy good. Love you brother!
You know what excites me about Elbaf, no real danger can be expected as the giants are already friendly towards the SHs, so this arc might very well be focusing on revealing more about one piece and the ancient kingdom, rather than direct fighting. But it will soon be over as SHs might spilt up for different goals after seeing what’s happened in the world. The only giant that we don’t know is friendly towards the SHs is Loki himself, he might very well be an antagonist in this arc until he realizes he’s talking with Nika himself 😂
The Egghead arc should have been a pivotal moment for Franky, where he not only faces challenges but also gets a significant power-up. This would have been the perfect opportunity for him to shine, especially since Vegapunk has always been his big idol. Instead of focusing solely on the larger story, the arc could have highlighted Franky's development, showcasing how his admiration for Vegapunk leads him to new heights, possibly with the creation of advanced technology or a personal breakthrough. This would allow Franky to stand out in a way that aligns with his character and his long-time dream of meeting the world's greatest scientist.
I think it's definitely a wasted opportunity, but I prefer to judge things based on what did happen rather than what could've happened, because otherwise you can come up with infinite possibilities that never got fulfilled. Why didn't Nami get a scene, why didn't Usopp get a scene, etc etc. From a story perspective it does seem that as of some point in Wano arc the strawhats have been kinda getting sidelined, with Oda juggling so many pieces that he has no time to spend on any of them. I think he's also worried that this time to write one piece is running out, which would explain why Egghead is so fast paced compared to other arcs, even the tiny ones. There were lots of things in this arc that I thought were unusual for One Piece, but most specifically was Vegapunk dying after Luffy had promised Sentomaru he'd save him. The reaction Luffy and Sanji had to that moment makes no sense - it should have been a massive deal to break a promise like that - but the story moved on far too quickly, only for it to get briefly referenced in this new chapter. This plot point would make more sense if Vegapunk isn't actually "dead", which he kind of isn't, but that's for us to understand and not Luffy or Sanji.
I would like to point out something that is helicoptered around but nobody seems to address directly. Vegapunk friggin knows. He knows what the one piece is. I don't know how but he does. He talks by facts and he hypothesises by speculation. When he outright told the world that how its destiny will play out depends on who finds the one piece, he DIDN'T say it was his hypothesis. He spoke like he spoke about the flooding. He knew for a fact the flooding would happen. So he must know for a fact that whoever finds one piece will form the world's destiny
Egghead was a flawless arc, there’s no argument with that. An absolute master class of storytelling, suspense, emotional highs and lows & top tier fights for 65 straight chapters. I think it’s the most beautifully paced arc in One Piece since the Marineford Arc.
I'd agree for the most part, the main issue i had were the gorosei themselves. They acted more so as immortal punching bags, they killed VP but other than that they really felt lackluster.
@@ZanarkandFFX they're only lackluster because our false perspective that they're supposed to be the right hand men of the Final villain, but it is clear now that is not the case. At this point The Blackbeard Pirates and the God's Knights are higher in the villain chain than the Gorosei
Definitely, the gorosei are big villains, but they are no way more important endgame villains than Blackbeard, Imu & Akainu. Oda made it clear on who the main guys are in the endgame. The gorosei are simply Imu’s elite henchman’s.
i think the story of the ancient kingdom is a mashup of all the countries Luffy an the crew have visited. the ancient kingdom was overthrown by the 20 kindoms who took an opportunity to seize power while joyboy n co were out being pirates similarly like Oden. most of Wano sort of shows how the story plays out just about every island Luffy has gone to sheds some light on how or why it happpened. One interesting thing is that Vegapunk never told to rescue him, or to take him alive... Just to take him out of the island. In retrospect, he might have never intended to leave alive even without his memories, but possibly has something he can do with his body in safety
I’m really glad that Vegapunk acknowledged that he was an idiot for literally personifying his greed. It really speaks to Egghead's capitalism allegory. I read that “One last thing" trail off in the note as something unrevealed so I'm super curious as to what that “One last thing” is. I remember when we all couldn't wait to meet Dr. Vegapunk and we finally did and it exceeded out expectations because none of saw it coming that we would meet not one but 7 Vegapunks and his big brain. It was an awesome arc. Let's see what Elbaf has in stores for us. 19.08.2024
@TheLibraryofOhara where do you get from the actual dates?
Thank you artur! And thank you egghead
Luffys birthday in universe is just around the corner, his birthday is may 5th if im remembering right
Yes
Is that right a character defined by red eyes can't SEA around the world?
So, what is the *Massive Joyboy Reveal I Might've Missed*?
Muchas gracias por compartir tu conocimiento y pasión por One Piece Artur.
The sword emblem on the shirt completes the phrase fuza- "ken" -na doesn't it?
1:06 i think you missed the first item of clothing being "fuza KEN na", the sword standing for 'ken' as in "fuzakenna!"
Egghead really changed up the pace when it came to plot compared to other arcs.
Mars summoning was likely cancelled by Mars himself. Or works with proximity to the magic circle.
And still I find ppl complaining about all kind of stuff on every chapter that came out "this chapter was pretty bad" when Oda delivers weekly...
That's how you know we live among imperfect people with flaws we cannot fix or amend. It's better to find and help out "friends" than "fix" the world's problems.
I knew that Vegapunk would make a 5D chess move against York and the Gorosei
... and thank YOU, Artur! ^^
Yeah, Egghead was peak One Piece easily. What an insane arc. Oda was cooking like crazy.
For me, Egghead is in the top 3 best arcs. Water7/Enies Lobby and Marine Ford are in the top 3.
i think everyone misses the panel of haki basting through the portal making IMU feel the haki bast, because it was literally right here close to him/her
You forgot X sign on Emeth arm like the SH sign for Vivi
We can thank that the god of the verse Rai D Zo wasn’t on egghead with a scroll to store Joyboy's haki
Hello everyone ! I just wanted to say that i think Saturn is the only one that remained on the island is because he’s the only one that came by ship ? The rest of the Gorosei were summoned directly from Mary Geoise. It’a just a taught.
You mean to tell me that the whole post time skip is currently under 3months?! That’s insane growth 😮
If Shanks was able to paralyze an admiral from far away.
Then Joyboy at least should be able to teleport gorosei
Egghead has indeed been a fun experience.
I say luffy knocked him away from the radius of the summon circle along with the haki messing with summoning a little bit
