Honestly sad it’s not Kreig themed list should have been Heavy weapons squad Command squat Vet guard Death riders I think that’s reasonable in basically every way, not even a great box but would have been way more fun
The problem with guard is half of their roster is some variant of armoured vehicle and as we have seen with GW's current trend of no armoured vehicles in combat patrols, it limits guard heavily is what can go into the new combat patrol without it being almost the same as the last one. That said, I feel that one of rough rider boxes should have been swaped out for a cadian shock troop box and had an ogryn box or a heavy weapons squad box added.
Yeah, you are absolutely right, this is a clearance sale. Could not be any less excited, but I also happen to think the Rough Riders are some of the worst modern 40K models. And they don't match the aestethics of anything else in the army.
Are the spearhead boxes for ApS this imbalanced? If the Aeldari one has 10 Dire Avengers instead of 5 makes it a much better Combat Patrol. This one seems much more final, and rough riders would need a massive boost for this to be good. Thanks for content.
While I'm happy that Krieg fans get their awesome new minis, from a business/project management point of view I'm honestly baffled at GW's decision to release new minis that step all over existing ones so soon after their release, especially after the massive datasheet culling they've been doing the past year. Rough Riders and Ordinance Batteries probably aren't going to sell a single box ever again when the DKOK look SO much cooler (I know that the stats are different but let's be honest, most sales aren't made to competitive players...). I'm surprised they didn't put the ordinance batteries in here to offload them too lol
Does anyone know why Attilan Rough Riders got models? Guard is vehicle focused and is what a lot players are there for, and Aos and fantasy have much better cavalry, so why make them? Especially with many other wanted regiments they could choose from.
Like yea this is bad, if I had to guess. they are going to do something to the rough riders or the kasrikans to make them more worth wild points wise. So hoping they increase the damage and point value of the rough riders I guess.
The trend of GW releasing worse combat patrols continues. I'd say for any of the factions that have not yet received their new combat patrol it is fair to say that you should get one if you're looking to get into the faction. It's only going to get worse.
Im rather bothered by this box my guess is this was a attempt to sell 2 kits that dont sell well and one gw plans to lock behind the combat patrol and it being rarely available which sucks. I dont even get how this works in combat patrol yes it may be able to keep up with the toned down boxes but consider grey knights or custodes and they just slaughter this box.
I want to collect a one to three units of each mini for each faction. I like to paint and set them up but i dont ever play 40k. I dont have the kasrkins and Attilans riders, and theyve been on my wishlist quite a while now. Ill be buying the combat patrol magazine, so ill have the command squad. Should I still buy this CP?
I hope we are going to get a better Combat Patrol for Thousand Sons...
Is it possible to make it worse than current one is probably how GW will approach it
Nope. All tzaangors
1 Tzaangor on disc, 20 Tzaangor, 1 Helbrute
@@alexmauney9705 and a rhino, for shit's and giggles
GW really said "we gotta get rid of these damn rough riders"
I joked ages ago it would be a load of horses in a box. I wish I wasn’t right 😂😭
Whopping 295 pts!?!? 😂🎉
The question gw are asking is "can Kasrkin sell 10 rough riders?"
Honestly sad it’s not Kreig themed list should have been
Heavy weapons squad
Command squat
Vet guard
Death riders
I think that’s reasonable in basically every way, not even a great box but would have been way more fun
And sold like hot cake.

because they are from atilla. they are their own regiment, the same could be said for the tanith and catachans.
Imaging this thing beat to beat with dkok.
One command squad
10 combat engineers
10 riders.
I would have brought 2 boxes.

Its sad bow much better the spewrheads seem to be in average. Better price, more reasonable mix of models, and i hear that gamemode is actually fun.

Between this and the Krieg box new Guard players like myself basically have no way to bulk infantry without buying box by box or second hand.
I really like Rough Riders 😅

The only faction that got a decnt one was Custodes. Second behind would be the Tau.
I was suprised since I already have everything on that box x2.. i'll pass on this one.. but its tempting xD
Krieg command squad
Krieg infantry x2
Krieg deathriders
There, everyone is happy and you sell a box to everyone who buys the fomo box.

Who's this combat patrol for in the guard community? It's a really bad box. The old start collecting box was better than this new one.
lol, that's soo bad of a box to start astra army
absolute garbage box.
This is how i feel about all of the new combat patrols
