Thank you endlessly. You juat taught me one of rhe things my dad should have shown me while he was making me do all the other things round the house!! Cheers.
Thanks Mike, I really didn’t know how easy it is to stop the tap from leaking. No more plumbers for me , well for that job any way because when it needs doing next I will be trying it my self. Thanks again 👍🏻
Just make sure mains water is turned off, and open the lowest located tap to let excess water drain out, I did not do that part that’s why you see the water drain out when I pull the little plunger out. 👍
You have either done something wrong or the tap is corroded inside or has calcium build up inside. pull it apart again and check inside to see what is in there.
@@MikesManCave ive done it three times with different washers. Its an outside tap.I'll look again. My water also keeps dribbling even if mains off. Have rang water corp.
@@judycoffey5445 Next step is go to the hardware store and replace the entire tap. Just make sure you get the correct thread size, there are two different sizes.
I was asking "why does mans speak so slow ? I must have my speed at normal " my speed was at 1.5x, unbelievable. That said, thank you, you helped solved my problem. Fucken skits mate.
Clear and concise directions. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

The callout fees need to be outlawed or set to a limit say £25 but no more than this.
I can see call out fees being necessary, but many trades charge crazy rates. I would be ashamed rot charge what some of these people charge.
