Three gorgeous puppies! It seems that some of your litters tend to have more males than females, is this normal? I love chocolate chihuahuas, they remind me of my girl Baby who I lost at age 14 in 2021, I've had many dogs but Baby's the one I had the deepest bond with.

I live the chocolates too. I think it’s such a pretty color. The gender always varies a lot. Maria had 2 girls and a boy in her first litter. Then a girl in her second and a girl in her 3rd. So this litter is the first time she’s had more boys than girls. Although if dogs are the same as humans, I’m pretty sure it’s the daddy’s genes which determine baby genders. Over all it’s about a 50/50 chance - pretty equal odds for girls vs boys ❤️

I love the chocolate Chihuahuas! 🥰My 8 month old chocolate Chihuahua puppy is so cute, but she keeps barking at my 3 year old lab very loudly every time she wants him to play with her, and I feel like every time he goes over and plays with her, he is reinforcing the barking. I know this is normal behavior, and I don't want to prevent them from playing together, so how do I train her to not bark when she wants to play with him? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Hi Ms Kelly! I was wondering, is there a shampoo you recommend for the babies in terms of healthy for their skin but also smells good when they cuddle on the furniture? I understand with chi's, their skin can be sensitive and one doesnt wanna bathe them too often with harsh soaps.

I like using Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo. It’s gentle on their skin and it smells so yummy.

She’s not gonna be profitable anymore so you giving up on her. Looks like business only, not really passionate, good breeder. Sorry sad

It's important to recognize that putting Maria up for adoption doesn't necessarily mean SweetiePiePets is giving up on her or treating it as just a business move. Responsible breeders often retire their dogs when it's in the best interest of the dog's health and well-being. Maria has likely been a cherished member of SweetiePiePets' family, and making the decision to find her a new, loving home can be a difficult one.
By offering Maria for adoption, SweetiePiePets is ensuring that she can enjoy her retirement in a comfortable and loving environment, where she can receive all the attention and care she deserves. This act of finding a suitable home for Maria reflects SweetiePiePets' commitment to her dogs' happiness and overall welfare. It's a responsible and caring decision that shows their dedication to the well-being of their pets, even after their breeding years.
