Hi Ashley, I know you do a ton of left chest and I know you do so many you eyeball it, but if you did measure it what would it be placement wise?

I do top center about 6" (give or take for size) down from the shoulder seam on women's items. Slight adjustment down/out for plus sizes and unisex. The Embroiderer's placement tool is a great resource for consistency but does work better on unisex IMO (it gives you center of design vs top center that I use).

I need a new laptop. Can you let me know what storage would be a good size to get just for embroidery? My D drive is full. I like Windows computers. TIA 😃

Hi Kim, When I replaced my laptop last summer, I placed more emphasis on the upgraded processor and RAM rather than memory storage on the laptop then also purchased a 5TB external hard drive to save actual files (I also use that for videos so most people do not need nearly that large of one!). I'm not a computer expert but here's my recommendations: If you are running many embroidery or photo editing softwares, I would recommend at least 8GB of RAM (12GB+ would be ideal). At least an i5 processor (again newer i7 would be even better--I'm not sure of the equivalent in AMD processors). My laptop unfortunately only has a 250GB (solid state) hard-drive, but that was the tradeoff in my price range for having the upgraded processor and 16GM RAM to handle the software better.
