If you are new here, I am Ashley and I operate TWO Etsy embroidery shops full time from my home studio. I never announced but wasn't intentionally keeping the gender a secret, just the name!

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy 🤩. My little dude gets here May 31st (via C-section) and like you I think it’s time to slow down on orders with being so close to having a baby, wanted to know when you say you closed down do you mean that you put your shop on vacation mode?
For the first few weeks, I only deactivate all the listings until all pending orders are finished shipped and delivered. Then I do turn on vacation mode and the automated message closer to baby's arrival. That seems to cut down on frantic customer messages!
