- In today's (very long!) Vlog, I bring you along for a very chatty work with me on a busy Friday in my shop. I show how I use my cameo 4 to precut applique fabric and how I get all the orders done in a day. I also talk about order volume and how I plan to hand shutting down my shops for pregnancy/maternity leave soon.
If you are new here, I am Ashley and I operate TWO Etsy embroidery shops full time from my home studio. Over 3 years ago, I traded in my RN job and stethoscope to stay home and operate my businesses full time when I could no longer keep up with both! Now I have a beautiful little girl at home with me (and another baby on the way) that keeps me busy alongside my shops.

Omg how cute are those designs. Which stabilizer do you use for your kids shirt and which stabilizer do you use for your Jackets? Your a work horse
I use the same for both, just in different sizes. One layer of polymesh against the garment and one layer of tearaway to help with hooping. I will occasionally use a second piece of polymesh on dense or fill designs.
Oh my gosh! I love the font in unicorn design 😍 what is it called?
It's "I Miss Your Kiss", it was from The Itch 2 Stitch before they recently closed. Designsbyjuju.com did buy their files/fonts, but I do not think they have this one posted yet.
Are you using glitter HTV or glitter embroidery sheets on your children’s shirts?
I prefer Glitter HTV but have used both depending on what I need. The puppy one shown is glitter HTV.
I love that font on the bunny ear! May I ask what it is?
I have it as Pigtails, but I think the official name was updated. It was an I2S font, but I'll see if DBJJ has it available yet.
"Happy Days" is the updated name, but I2S recently closed and were bought out by Designsbyjuju.com This font does not look like it had been added to DBJJ yet.
Hi, do you digitize your designs and then post for sale? Or do you buy the designs and then advertise?
I buy some and digitize others. Most I either do a mockup or a stitchout for a sample to post.
