I made the first one this size, for my friend’s Crocheting…it is perfect! I’ve since made some that are 5 squares wide by 3 squares tall for totes. Everyone loves them!
I do love the simple way you explain all the instructions, this bag is so versatile, it could be used for all sorts of things, in my case I think Im going to make it for one of my very best friends who quilts beautifully...thanks so much...
My nephew is having a baby this year. I think using kiddie charms this could make a fantastic diaper bag. Maybe putting some pockets inside on the lining too. Thanks for a great tutorial!
Love this bag. Thank you. I have 2 tip suggestions; #1, instead of using squares on the bottom I cut one dark piece of fabric. If you are setting the bag on the floor, it’s going to get dirty and you don’t want to use light or waste a pretty fabric no one will ever see. #2, do not throw out your old warn out cutting mats, Save and cut them to fit bottoms in bags. Happy sewing 🥰
Great demo, have a bunch of charm squares. Buy them 2 at a time. So will have plenty. Have been needing a new project bag for a while. Thanks for sharing your time ☺️🌼☺️
Thank you for another great tutorial. As always you break it down into simple stages clearly explained. What I also like is the versatility of your design as you can make smaller bags or even larger bags just by reducing or increasing the size and number of squares used. As always, thank you so much for sharing.
Lovely bag and demo. I've got my eye on your cutting mat/ironing pad combo. I've got that one also. How did you recover it??? So tired of the boring black on mine. Thanks for all your time and energy for our benefit.
Do you have a link on how to make the ironing mat/cutting mat holder? Or where to purchase? I really like that and your bag. I just found your channel.
Although I understand the project as a bag maker I feel you could do more steps on the sewing machine and not be in such a rush to finish a video for the benefit of less experienced sewers. It's an observation not a criticism because I enjoy the channel content. BEYONDAWESOMEDESIGNS

Thank you for the tutorial. Well done!
Very cool,thank you!
Great looking bag! Is it possible to get the measurements on a printout? Thank you for sharing! 😉💜💜
I often use a notebook to jot down the sizes when explained plus you can replaying a slower speed via settings.
Great video! Simple instructions. I was wondering if binding was made from bias binding or not? Love you guys!
Gracias ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the bag. Do you have a video on the ironing/cutting mat that you had in this video?
Did you make the cutting/ironing pad combo? If so did make a how-to video ?
I'll love this.but just wondering could you sew a zipper in the bag ?
How far apart are the handles? Thank you for sharing this.

I made one and it came out so cute 🥰 thank you
Is there a reason you don’t cut out the lining in one piece using the bag body as a pattern?
I love this tote! Is there a pattern somewhere I can also purchase? I do better when I can reread the instructions.
Can we get the measurements for the bag? I have an old quilt I'm going to try and make a tote bag out of.
Is wadding the same as batting?
Are your measurements in inches on the lining and handles?
Hi Ya'll. I did not understand what you put on the handles. Vi Leen? Pat-South Padre Island, Texas
Vilene is an interfacing....I think in USA you call it Pellon?
@@annekane7660 Thank you Ms. Anne.
What is it that can be put in the handles to make them sturdier?
Hi Emilie, Interfacing :)
It’s large enough for your sewing machine too. LOL
just wondering if its easier to put the lining on before sewing the outer bits? hummmmmm
