Hi! I just am watching your video for the first time. I'm 81 yrs. old and live in Idaho on the outskirts of a small town. I didn't know I was the BoHo type till I saw your house. My house is a trailor added onto that is decorated with every color and type of thing. I love the eclectic look. And I paint, so I have so many pictures. I love everything used and old and loved. My daughter was so pained by my taste. She felt was no taste at all. So , she lives in a beautiful new home with all new furniture and she can tell you all the shades of white. She thot I would be jealous, she was suprised when I told her I chose all those things in my house. My yard is also wild sort of, with little yard after little yard. Lots of trees and vines. I'm almost 76 and yes -- I too remember those flowing Indian clothes and bedspreads we'd buy in "Head Shops." I always wore tops from those places, with lots of beads and bells. And though I'm crappy at sewing, I did make a couple of dresses, probably the same type you made!

So sweet. Charlie nibbling on your fingers is just his way of playing. Monet 🐾, my lil female Shih Tzu does the same thing. She wants me to take a time out and focus on her and play. I loved this! My little dog Bozlee and I are recent transplants to Greene County (from Minnesota) it’s super helpful to see some of the cute towns and thrift stores in the Hudson Valley. I am loving the area and am lucky enough to be able to walk down a hill and see the sunrise over the Hudson River (although lately a little too early for me LOL) and walk a few blocks to a farm field to see the sunset. Adam’s is my happy place too. It’s impressive you got out for under )50! Can’t wait to see your article on thrifting in the Hudson valley! ❤
I am lost for words with your videos...I just LOVE towns with all those shops...we have a few around here..one place is HUGE called the Lambs Tail...they have antiques and so many antique garden things..but it has been very rainy here too..and more coming..so it would be quite muddy..your food always looks so good..and healthy..everything looks beautiful..❤

Some of it is starting up here in Canada, but where I am we are a bit later as I'm at higher altitude, and a bit farther north. Your video makes me want to take a few days to travel down through the Hudson Valley just to sightsee and check out the thrift stores! Hi 👋🏻 I watch every video but never comment but wanted to say that I had a precious little Chihuahua as well . He was adopted from a shelter so I knew nothing about him . I found quickly that he wouldn’t want to stay in the cart either & would whine to get out . I put a doggie bed pad / doggie bed in the cart & he instantly layed down & enjoyed himself . I kept his lil leash on just in case he’d decide to jump out so I’d feel the tug . I loved taking him places . He left me 2 years ago & honestly I cry every single day missing him . Give Charlie a hug or snack lol from me . 🥰♥️

Here's another tip on DE that powder you use for ticks, I also get cedar chips like pet bedding and put out around my home. Ticks don't like I, and neither does other bugs. About Charlie in the cart...have you tried using a body harness & securing that with enough give to move a bit but not enough to jump out? Maybe an adjustable chain with a carabiner? How fun about the documentary. I know how you feel but honestly, you are beautiful. The "casual look" like a messy bun, is more beautiful, to me anyway, than more "put together" looks. I do think your hair wave for the interview looked really great. Anyway, I'm sure you did a great job & I wish we could all see both interactions. ☺️♥️ We are all super proud of you!!!☆
Great episode Kate (and Charlie)! I'm jealous of all your rain. It was interesting to find out that you're 5'10"! I was 5'9½" in my youth. Now, at 70yo, I'm practically short, at a mere 5"6½"! I still feel tall on the inside though. Today I'm going to get my water feature going outside . The birds, coyotes and deer love it, as do the feral cats, squirrels and chipmunks. Happy Spring!
I noticed my little chi regressed socially when I didnt take her in the stores during covid. I have a little foam seat cover not attached to my drivers seat, I grab that to push her in my shopping cart. It kind of goes up each side of the top part of the shopping cart and she feels safe that way and that way only❤ I just adore little Charlie and how much your energies blend togethet so beautifully.

Congratulations on the new dress, yay, and the interview! You're so natural in how you appear on video, and your kind-heartedness will show through. Ugh, I'm in a fight with morning glory (bindweed). I think I'll be pulling it out of my garden for years. It's beautiful and I love the flowers but it's so invasive, just pops up everywhere. In one year it can grow a root system five feet deep and ten feet wide. Super difficult to get rid of once it's there. I do have lovely memories of morning glory from my childhood, though... it grew on my pre-school fence.

You should never worry about others taking photos and video of you:) I have a little chi mix and I bought her a doggie stroller for those times when I want to go window shopping or buying small items. It's perfect and she loves it. I can zip it up because it has as a fabric screen so she can see out, or I can keep the screen up. I keep it in my car so it's always there if I need it. Hi Kate & Charlie. This video is perhaps the best you have done. I say that lightly because it's really hard to pick. One of my favorite parts was of you lying on that beautiful bench in the park. So sweet. Charlie nibbling on your fingers is just his way of playing. Monet 🐾, my lil female Shih Tzu does the same thing. She wants me to take a time out and focus on her and play. It's a way of trust and bonding I think. Charlie is a good, happy and content lil boy who loves his Momma! You two are a great match! Love your videos Kate! I loved this! My little dog Bozlee and I are recent transplants to Greene County (from Minnesota) it’s super helpful to see some of the cute towns and thrift stores in the Hudson Valley. I am loving the area and am lucky enough to be able to walk down a hill and see the sunrise over the Hudson River (although lately a little too early for me LOL) and walk a few blocks to a farm field to see the sunset. Adam’s is my happy place too. It’s impressive you got out for under )50! Can’t wait to see your article on thrifting in the Hudson valley! ❤
I am lost for words with your videos...I just LOVE towns with all those shops...we have a few around here..one place is HUGE called the Lambs Tail...they have antiques and so many antique garden things..but it has been very rainy here too..and more coming..so it would be quite muddy..your food always looks so good..and healthy..everything looks beautiful..❤

Some of it is starting up here in Canada, but where I am we are a bit later as I'm at higher altitude, and a bit farther north. Your video makes me want to take a few days to travel down through the Hudson Valley just to sightsee and check out the thrift stores! Hi 👋🏻 I watch every video but never comment but wanted to say that I had a precious little Chihuahua as well . He was adopted from a shelter so I knew nothing about him . I found quickly that he wouldn’t want to stay in the cart either & would whine to get out . I put a doggie bed pad / doggie bed in the cart & he instantly layed down & enjoyed himself . I kept his lil leash on just in case he’d decide to jump out so I’d feel the tug . I loved taking him places . He left me 2 years ago & honestly I cry every single day missing him . Give Charlie a hug or snack lol from me . 🥰♥️

Here's another tip on DE that powder you use for ticks, I also get cedar chips like pet bedding and put out around my home. Ticks don't like I, and neither does other bugs. Smells bad for bugs but outside air is clear. Just a tip.

About Charlie in the cart...have you tried using a body harness & securing that with enough give to move a bit but not enough to jump out? Maybe an adjustable chain with a carabiner?
How fun about the documentary. I know how you feel but honestly, you are beautiful. The "casual look" like a messy bun, is more beautiful, to me anyway, than more "put together" looks. I do think your hair wave for the interview looked really great.

Great episode Kate (and Charlie)! I'm jealous of all your rain. It was interesting to find out that you're 5'10"! I was 5'9½" in my youth. Now, at 70yo, I'm practically short, at a mere 5"6½"! I still feel tall on the inside though. Today I'm going to get my water feature going outside . The birds, coyotes and deer love it, as do the feral cats, squirrels and chipmunks. Happy Spring!

I noticed my little chi regressed socially when I didnt take her in the stores during covid. I have a little foam seat cover not attached to my drivers seat, I grab that to push her in my shopping cart. It kind of goes up each side of the top part of the shopping cart and she feels safe that way and that way only❤

Congratulations on the new dress, yay, and the interview! You're so natural in how you appear on video, and your kind-heartedness will show through. Ugh, I'm in a fight with morning glory (bindweed). I think I'll be pulling it out of my garden for years. It's beautiful and I love the flowers but it's so invasive, just pops up everywhere. In one year it can grow a root system five feet deep and ten feet wide. Super difficult to get rid of once it's there. I do have lovely memories of morning glory from my childhood, though... it grew on my pre-school fence.

You should never worry about others taking photos and video of you:) I have a little chi mix and I bought her a doggie stroller for those times when I want to go window shopping or buying small items. It's perfect and she loves it. I can zip it up because it has as a fabric screen so she can see out, or I can keep the screen up. I keep it in my car so it's always there if I need it.
