So refreshing to see folks having such a good time flying and enjoying the time. Many of us fly amazing aircraft, but .... it's for a job and the "fun" part of aviation gets drowned out in the drum of the operation.
Great job, Kim. You are a natural. I'm sure it'll get easier as you repeat flight after flight. Kris is a patient teacher and you kept your cool and kept learning. You show you are a natural learner by not being afraid of asking questions to help you understand. "So you took the controls because of wind shear?" And Kris makes clear explanations. You two are a Great team. Dave
Great job Kim!!!!!!! You are so blessed to have a patient and loving co-pilot and access to a multi-engine aircraft. Your ADM and CRM were really good! I cannot wait til you pass check ride! Maybe I will get a chance to fly with you guys at an ACCA event! Blue skies and keep a positive attitude!
Excellent video! Kudos to Kim for handling so much of that flight! Awesome job instructing with enough info when needed but not in excess to overload. Had fun flying along. Thx for taking us with you!
On initial contact to ATC, ATC called out "Baron Pilot, 3175W". You guys were so focused on training, it appears you missed the shout out. Love the videos!
Every video that features an actually flying flyingSIC is a good video. Also... "Look at him just hovering there! I love helicopters!" is possibly one of the cutest things ever said by Kim on this channel. LOL
@FlyingSIC you did great here, and that was, what, a year or so ago?? And I too learned a few things about a constant-speed-prop plane, which I hope to start flying soon (likely a DA40, having trained and recently gotten my PPL exclusively in DA20s), thanks to the clear instruction going on here. My wife and I had our first flight together Tuesday night, not quite a XC (we diverted back home due to thickening haze up in the N GA mountains) and look forward to our next one soon; meanwhile, she's had several Sim lessons, and her first flying lesson last Saturday, goal being to become a co-pilot for me when we fly around together. So it's great watching the camaraderie you two have, also helpful for me to pick up ideas for how to be a better PiC with Barb (or really anyone) in the right seat. Thanks for these videos!!
Nice shout out for Pilots N Paws at the beginning. I look forward to when Kim finishes getting her license, and N3175W joining us in our Baron, N7773R, doing Freedom Flights.
A classic example of multi, single pilot, multi tasking training. You anticipated on past experience the 10 change. I enjoyed that interaction between you two. Working it out!! Good music fit too. 🔟
Wow Kim u are doing great! u are a lucky girl..to have such a patient and I might say loving instructor💕 be safe and healthy...love watching u all fly😊😻
Great job Kim. I just got back to flying after a long hiatus, and I am going through a lot of what your going through, happy to be back in the air. Just relax.
Super good flying Kim!! Well done. Your skill level and pilot multitasking has jumped up way more than what you may think! When you jump in a trainer, you'll find it very light and so much easier to fly without multiple black, blue and red levers. You'll master it all in no time. Just a shame most light twins don't have electric trim on the copilot side! Cheers from NZL, David
Great work by Kim and great instructions by Chris. I lost count of the number of times I tried to wipe the smudge off my iPad whenever the forward camera view was playing - lol!!!
I think Kim coulda handled that smidge of wind shear just fine! Great flying SIC. I learned in a 150, lots more to manage in that big complex Baron! You’ve got a fine instructor so that helps. Have fun!! 🙌🏽👍🏽
Kim I love that you have that serious pilot look on takeoff. Definitely concentrating on the flight. Well done. You will get it I am sure..A lot of stuff going on in that plane.
Great job Kim. I bet you didn’t realize then that you would be taking lessons within a year from there. Hope you get well fast and look forward to the coming videos.
Kim did a good job this can be over whelming in a twin for a new pilot .There is alot going on in the approach on an ILS landing even though it was clear weather with a bit of a chop .
Kim your doing so good. Starting in a multi engine it's busy because things happen much quicker. There are two dials, one for each engine. When you train in a High Wing Cessna 152 or a low wing Piper Warrior things will happen much slower but with your training you will be more relaxed and much more ahead of the airplane. When you fly always think 30 miles ahead, what are the next two things to do. Scan outside, look at the instruments 3 seconds, Scan outside and always keep busy. What's my engine instruments telling me, Scan outside, back to altimeter, flight track, Scan outside. Things will gradually fall into place. Become easier, knowing what to expect.
I really enjoyed the words to that song. You two have a great relationship going,.I can tell just watching you on the videos! Is there any way you can adjust the ATC's communication .? They seem to talk over you and it's hard to.listen to what your saying and the ATC's are saying to other pilots. Kim, I think your GREAT ON THE COMS AND TALKING TO REPEAT ALL THAT INFORMATION TO THE ATC's on takeoff. It's so entertaining ,thank you for great videos and I do hope Kristoff's son is okay.ninag.

The thing I like about Kim is she's not afraid to ask questions. Love her.
Cool subtle shout out by Departure at 7:45 w the “Baron Pilot 75W” call. Great job on the controls and power, Kim. Keep up the great work.
That was fun watching “intense” Kim! Good focus on flying the plane.
Good job, Kim! Whatever you do, don’t stop flying!

Kim, awesome job! You did it. I am sure we were all pulling for you.
On initial contact to ATC, ATC called out "Baron Pilot, 3175W". You guys were so focused on training, it appears you missed the shout out. Love the videos!
I caught that in the edit. I was mad I didn’t hear that and thank him.
Heard it too. Played back thinking it was a similar call sign.

Great Job, Kim and Kris. Awesome!

Enjoyed meeting y’all in person at sun & fun! We need to get together for a little formation flying!
Good job Kim! Way to hang in there and get that experience, everyone has to go through the learning curve and looks like you are doing great.

Great job sis!!!
Nice Intro Music. Sometimes we all get a little case of Mush Mouth. Kim is advancing nicely. A Twin keeps you lots more busy for sure.
Awesome job, Kim. That’s a lot going on to manage. You’ll probably be bored when you start single-engine training.
Great job Kim
Very Nice Job Kim!!
