Oh wow the refillable… 😍😍😍 wish we could go back in time for a perfume shopping trip! And the deep colour of the edt … looks so rich and lovely. No.22 is not one that suits me (tuberose does not work well with me in general but strangely will stay on my skin very strong for at least 2 days!) but I do respect No.22 as a fragrance and this review makes me want to visit it again. I love the imagery of the diamonds refracting within the different compositions 💎💎💎✨✨✨

They don’t care for No22 at Chanel allegedly because its not making them enough money to allegedly warrant a special release 🤷🏻♂️💖

I was looking for this particular review of the no 22! I am the lucky one to have the vintage 50ml ed spray in the white/beige case as well as 200ml EDT. Boy oh boy, so very different from the current no. 22 EDP concentration. What can we do for Chanel to stop reformulating? Leave the masterpieces to their masterpieces.
I have the old 50ml refillable white one too... its different for sure but I still enjoy the current edp as well. And the parfum is always great.
Dacob, the bottle of No 22 EDP I have is a few years old now, has matured (darkened, as you say, as the vanilla ages) and I smell beautiful incense in the fragrance now, that I didn’t when the bottle was new. I’m thinking that the gorgeous incense vibe I’m getting now, is a combination of the matured vanilla + the vetiver in the basenotes.

I want this and 31 Rue Cambon. I know you said you don't like the EDP of 31 Rue Cambon, but I am addicted to it. Granted, I never had the chance to smell any of the EDTs
But thats good too! We all smell differently and perceive perfumes differently.

my chanel 22 edt had such great longevity and projection. i wish i had a crystal ball back in the day bc i would have stored up like a crazy lady the edt. oy

Great review!!!! I love 22 pure perfume. Greetings from Canada. Please tell us why we cannot buy Chanel 19 edp or pure perfume? I keep ask at Chanel counter if is discontinued, they say they are not . Is just so frustrating. Please help !!!
Thank you Ramona. I am not CHANEL so I cannot know the reasons why certain products are not stocked in your area but maybe it has to do with demand? If there is not enough demand from enough customers then usually certain products do not get sent anymore...

Ramona Number 19 is exclusive now only sold at Chanel Boutiques and or online . Department store counters here no longer have some of these exclusives sad to say .
Dacob please suggest, 75ml or 200ml? (Incase it gets reformed). I am looking into 3 so far, le lion, gardenia and this.
Gardenia and No22 have already been reformulated many times since their 1920’s first release so you are about a hundred years late for that but as for Le Lion, try hunting down the batch codes beginning with a 4 or a 5 and if you find them, get the 200ml if you love the fragrance cuz those were the first batches ever produced of Le Lion. Hey Dacob, if you had to give a zodiac sign to Chanel 22 what it would be?
Which is more powdery- Chanel 22 Parfum or the EDP?
The most powdery is No5 edp. Haha. But of the No22 concentrations the most powdery used to be the edt. The edt is now discontinued so next on the ladder is the parfum. The edp is less powdery when the batch is fresh.

Call me crazy but the dry down of the new EDP smells like Honeydukes at the Wizarding World
Well, one of the issues of the 1920s was a lack of young men because so many of them were killed in World War 1. So there was an abundance of women and they really let their hair down. - or bobbed it!😄
