Yes when your gunned its to late , they can get you at 1000 meters or 1K ,there's a good chance you won't see them , but it can alert you so you ease off and so avoided a higher zone as you may get a higher speed incurring a massive fine ,penalties go up in speed increments .
@@TMCHL Radar detectors do not jam radar gun readings, and radar waves are able to reflect and bounce off surfaces meaning you can detect radar without them being in line of sight and getting a speed reading.
@@txnshi Again nope, radar "detectors" (its litterally in the name) only have a radar horn for receiving radar, not jamming. Thats why they are legal to own and use just about everywhere, they dont interfere. Stinger radar detectors are able to jam laser, not radar. Jamming laser is not even a ticket in most states, jamming radar is a federal crime and you will be tracked down and arrested if you do that enough.

@@HenkKroonenburg Unless that kit comes with a laser jammer (which is illegal in the UK) it is not blocking the laser. If your detector warns you of a laser, it's already too late as your already being gunned.
@@masudahmed6029 Most detectors have radar detection and many also have laser detection. So if you are being gunned the detector will tell you. I'm not too sure what you are specifically asking. Police cars in the UK do not have radar speed devices like in the USA - you will be gunned by laser by an officer at the side of the road. As I mentioned, once your detector alerts you that you are being hit with a laser it's already too late becuase laser is extremely accurate and doesn't bounce around anywhere near as much as radar.

@@peteradams5857 you won’t get any points,it’s legal to sell/buy and fit to your car .If your caught using it they will take you to court for perverting the course of justice which in the uk can be heard in crown court only.at the very least your car will be seized by police.there’s been a few cases where people have been caught but they were all using cheaper jammers that are easily spotted by the police and give a visable flash of light from the jammers leds,the stingers jammer is the size of a pin head (2mm)and doesn’t flash

these things block the gun readings for a second and alert the driver hence it works :)
