    Be very careful using Copyright free music. There are unscrupulous people out there that will file a complaint that will make you share revenue with them. And even if they are shutdown by TH-cam they will start under a new name and do it all over again. So, try to imagine the segment in this Grab Bag with the mobile home being moved with the alternative “Benny Hill” music we used to use. Thanks to All!

      "Yakety Sax" is a pop novelty instrumental jointly composed by James Q. "Spider" Rich and Boots Randolph. Saxophonist Randolph popularized the selection in his 1963 recording, which reached number 35 on the pop charts. Comedian Benny Hill later made it more widely known as the closing theme music of The Benny Hill Show. The piece is considered Randolph's signature work.

    Well, not a good sight hitting too close to home. I work for T Force (25 yrs since the Big O days) and am very, very sure that skid, while not loaded by our dock guys on this particular trailer, originated at my barn. Its a skid of rolls of padding, either 7 or 9ft long and weighs about 1150lbs. There is no way anybody is moving that pallet that far off that trailer without a dock and at least a long fork pallet jack. My feelings are slack action, and knowing the condition of our door latches, bars, lack of load securement tools and dunnage, and an overall indifference to load quality by many in management, this doesn't surprise me a bit. Sad and embarrassed to see this and hope nobody was hurt fixing this mess!

    A full pallet knocked half way out the back of the container looks to me to be more of a case of slack action than theft.

    • @haroldbenton979
      @haroldbenton979 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope theft TPS and all railroad TOFC shipments have bolt seals on the doors and the doors literally have cam style locks into the frames. If the pallet coming out was due to slack action the door would have looked like a pretzel.

    • @TheDirtyRam
      @TheDirtyRam ปีที่แล้ว

      I concur, and it looks a lot like a pig, which would have even more slack action

    • @stauffjt
      @stauffjt ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@haroldbenton979slack action or not, my guess is that the door hinges couldn’t stand the force of the pallet. Once the hinges go, the cam latches are useless. I agree that this is an unusual failure, but any anything is possible

      @norfolksouthernrailfan2006 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@haroldbenton979If someone broke into the trailer, they had help because there's no way a single person could pull that pallet out by themselves.

    • @haroldbenton979
      @haroldbenton979 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @stauffjt wrong I had a door literally get ripped off by another driver when I was closing it one day after getting loaded with grass seed in Oregon. Company shop was in Illinois. I asked for some help from the shipping company to get my door in place. We got it back on the trailer. I removed the broken hinges while the door was held in place by the cam locks. Then removed 2 hinges from the other door to give it some support for the rest of the trip. Ran for 3 more weeks like that hauling everything from grass seed to MN to frozen pizza back to Oregon to apples to St Louis then the trailer was dead line tagged for repair back to the shop. Those door locks are designed to withstand 46k pounds of products hitting them in order to meet FMCSA regulations for load securement when closed. They are not just going to fail unless you cut them off in order to break into the trailer. On a modern OTR trailer here's the areas that have parts made of steel or iron in them and the rest are either aluminum or plastic. Door frames and locking mechanisms. Axles and suspension components includes wheels and brakes assemblies. Fifth wheel plate and kingpin on the nose of the trailer and the last is landing gear legs and bracing. The rest is made as lightweight as possible but still to hold the weight of the cargo.

    I am surprised to see how many UP engines are still in the old paint scheme. They are taking off the HUGE U.S. flags on the side (because they are decals) and going back to having the old school Union Pacific painted down the side with a flag on the front side of the cab. (From what I have heard, is that the HUGE flag decals were/are just miserable to maintain.)

    • @kennethhanks6712
      @kennethhanks6712 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well if the current scheme on a loco still fairly good it can wait a bit for a redo. When you consider the cost of a repaint can easily be $10,000-15,000+ per loco depending on number of colors, complexity of scheme, quality of paint, etc plus time loco out of service while in shop, etc you don't want to abuse your bottom line too much at one time!
