I think Virtual Railfan should do a location in Marion Ohio. It's a great place for railfanning the fact that trains average to come every 20 minutes and there are eight diamonds! Also the NS Sandusky District crosses over the CSX Mount Victory Subdivision and the CSX Columbus Subdivision crosses over the CSX Mount Victory Subdivision. So there would be an east camera and a west camera for two viewing points on all eight diamonds. There is also a museum, a caboose, and a watch tower there. Overall, Marion Ohio would be a great place to put Virtual Railfan cameras.

That MOW machine at Skykomish looked interesting and also, I wondered if the Boxcars at Chehalis with their open doors, were making a last journey? I thought that CSX 8137 looked really good with her classic 'this is exactly as I was built' Workhorse appearance. But I loved the slight wheel-slip of No.89 at Paradise. She is a very nice looking Locomotive.
Can’t believe you did not show the rest of that Tropicana juice train. Was it a dedicated train? Is it back? How many juice cars? That would be exciting if it was back!!!
So at ~21:25 I see this thing come into view, and think "They are moving that wreck on the main?" Thin I see it is some type of ballast machine. "Never mind." 😁
CSX still with their Half-Arse Heritage paint (B&O, Chessie, L&N) etc the just won't go the whole way they just have to put their Yellow CSX nose etc on them !!! UP and BNSF have the money they should do Heritage units right like "Norfolk Southern" did, they did it Right and they didn't worry about the cost and still repaint them when needed !!! 👍
Is it just my imagination, or does BNSF spend more time than the other major railroads shuffling around blocks of locomotives from one terminal to another?
Many other roads often include dead-in-tow locos being transfered in regular freight trains saving the need for a separate move. BNSF chooses to use a separate move which does not interfere with a regular trains make up and operation.
And the Darwin candidate of the year is 😅 id actually like to see at least one of them caught by the police trying this dangerous stunt! The one with the bicycle got warned by getting hit in the head. Would have been just karma with the train would have left with his bicycle still on the train!
How many phrases entered the language from railroad talk? Can't make the grade. Slipping my wheels. Off track (well, that may be hunter talk). p.s. I do believe Kingsley Inn lens needs a good polishing.
Well the stream Is BEHIND the drivers on the way out. Any moisture on track on back up was probably already dried/evaporated in the heat and in any event that is what sanders are for. The main thing the injector is working to keep your boiler water at the proper safe level, the primary conern.
Rather than continuing to LA the train was terminated at Tucson and passengers were taken west by bus. Amtrak switched ends for the train to run back to New Orleans as the Sunset #2. There was storm damage to track somewhere between Tucson and LA.
@@kennethhanks6712 if we had a railroad system on par with America’s standards, that cyclist would have been able to cycle down through an underground tunnel for pedestrians and cyclists.
@kardondo The thing is if you consider the thousands (likely hundreds of thousands) of grade crossings in the US and the cost in multiple (often 100s of millions for a single major crossing elimation) there simply is not funding (hundreds of billions at least) available from any and all sources to remove them all in next many lifetimes. For such minor traffic volumn crossings as this one the general public simply has to exercise a little patience and good judgement (just like at many minor road intersections where stop signs make more economic sense than much more costly stop lights.
I think your lawyers would be nervous when you do the Darwins... People have gotten lots of $$ for less than these making fun of them... These are strange times we live in VRF. Be careful!!!
People use bad judgement all the time, but we don't call them Darwins. And natural selection, which is what the Darwin Awards (i e. Darwins) refers to, has nothing to do with the gene pool or intelligence. This is a wonderful channel with awesome railroad action but we shouldn't mock people's bad judgement.
Just love the black and white of the steam from Paradise scene. It puts you back in time! Thank you Virtual Railfan for putting this together!
Thank you for showing us waving at Roanoke VA. Much appreciated. Our family got to see it.

Really love seeing Covington on here now! Good chunk of neat stuff goes through there
I love seeing Springfield Massachusetts on it...and Norwalk Connecticut, too...would love to see Hartford, Connecticut on it.

That C&O unit is HOT HOT HOT!!! WOW!!
Yeah they did an awesome job on it!
Why does it seem like half of all bnsf traffic is a power move
Poor management?
Extra horsepower and tractive effort.
It's because it's interesting enough to be shown here, so that's all you're seeing
Not enough crews running them everywhere and wearing them out !

Where in Covington is that located?
