EXO's discography is so iconic. A lot of reactors focus on their title tracks, which are great, but the tea with EXO is their B-sides. If you're a fan of RnB, straight vocal gymnastic, and LIVE PERFORMANCES, you're gonna love this group. I had some of their title songs in the past but deepdived into them last year when they dropped their album. And funny enough they rose to my favorite boy group along with Stray Kids just in that short span of time.
ChenBaekXi are THRIVING under Baekhyun’s company INB100 (INB Baek) ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 they already have done a lot more appearances since he opened his company! EXO as a group is still under SM. D.O. also has his own company (Company SooSoo) and will release an album very soon 😍
That just leaves Chanyeol, Suho, Kai and Sehun under SM, but I have a suspicion that Chanyeol has something up his sleeve. We will see!
EXO have promised they will stay together and that’s all that matters to me. As long as they’re happy, I’m happy!

17's MAESTRO Reaction
So the exo case is super convoluted cause SM created a craazy contract with them. On top of a time contract, they were signed under the conditions that exo should release a certain amount of albums in the time period. But, sm is the company in charge of how many albums exo gets to release in the first place! SO, they sort of made a loop where they would be in power and not let these artists go anywhere. On top of that, cbx had to sign special contracts for their subunit which added more years to their contracts.
There was also money. cbx were never properly compensated for their unit work. All 3 of them did paperwork with the company 7 times to see a record of how their profits were being utilized but sm wasnt being transparent (keep in mind, this was also when sooman was caught in tax fraud, made superm to milk artists and evade taxes). So, finally they filed a case with Fair trade commission.
What's concerning was that 2 months before this whole thing happened, weird stories about cbx started popping up in media. especially trying to show them as money hungry (cause later they would file a case over money). Slowly it was becoming obvious that they were being excessively stalked and everything became clear when this lawsuit dropped. SM was doing a lot of negative PR and expected them to still stay in the company. It was a crazy power trip on their part just to show they will blacklist cbx (like they did with other artists before)
I am someone who is very adamant about not idolizing these celebrities cause they are people in the end. I loved exo for almost 10 years and in the whole time, I always thought I don't really know these people so I shouldn't be so surprised if some negative thing comes out. I still do think we don't know all that much about them, but this lawsuit made me genuinely believe exo, especially cbx, were some actually good people. IF you can, pls read cbx statements, made me tear up. They could've simply sued for their cases and moved on, they involved the government and filed a broader complaint so that every other artist in sm can build a case if they wish to. They couldnt have known how it would impact their careers, because even if sm is not as big as before, they are of the big3 with huge media influence. I think it was absolutely brave and genuinely nice of them to band together and file this.
In the end, sm did try to spin this on cbx for a long time, and made it seem like exo comeback was being postponed because of their selfish demands (as if exo ever had a consistent comeback after 2018). They had to settle finally and cbx left after their initial contracts expired. The difference is so stark btw, they left, have deals left and right, have more presence and are happier in general (same with kyungsoo, who also established his own company). WE can only hope the rest of the members can get out soon. EXO, the band, will be signed under SM cause of the trademark and shit i suppose.
Edit: Forgot to add anything about the reaction itself hahahha. i love this song sm!! and blooming days era was a time full of happiness istg! We had promo full weeks on end and the album itself is a masterpiece. The theme is days of the week, each song and promotion representing one day of the week. I always look forward to your exovelvet reactions btw!! My own personal bias i think but its hard not to like exo if you already stan rv and vice versa. In my head, they are a package deal of great music.

They are still with the Group EXO but all their Solo Stuffs and subunits stuffs will be under INB100 ❤. And D.O also started his own company called companysoosoo. EXO will promote as Group they recently had EXO Fanmeet 2024 . Members have decided to stay together as a Group under SM ENT.

They, CBX and D.O., have left SM as solo artists. Whether it be solo music, mvs, appearances, TV, and film, CBX and D.O. are in charge of their own lives. Baekhyun has started his own company, INB100, and D.O. started his own company, Company SooSoo (his partner is also a Soo name). Chen and Xiumin joined INB100. Baek and D.O. have the rights to their own personal agendas and music, and also to bring new people in to their company to train.
SM still have the rights to the group EXO. All Exo members signed revised contracts for continuing as Exo the group under SM.
