    good vid, we've been using the tex brown for about 2 or 3 years here in the UK. I cross the wires between the 2 posts but I like the way you pull them together and finish it off

      Every contractor seems to have a signature, I can usually tell who has worked somewhere by the way they build their end assemblies, that just my signature I guess.

      They are Strainrite strainers from NZ. The gauge is a seperate part number but also from strainrite.

      They are Strainrite strainers, a NZ made product bought through my local store.

      I’ve done this knot countless times with 8 gauge. My favourite wire to do this with is 3.15mm high tensile or 10 gauge, which is tougher than 8

      Yes it may seem unnecessary however, it doesn't take that long under normal circumstances. The extra frills are really just a signature of sorts. What would I use instead?
