Whitefield is the Last Metro station in this Line as now may be in future they can easily extend upto Hoskote so most of the people will get benifits from this Metro Line.

Yea they have made an announcement opening will be Jan2023........ actually estimated date is Jun 2023 about 5 years actual deadline for them so as per the deadline we are able to complete. They have started this metro construction on 2018
Lot of work is pending may be in next 15 August 2023 it will be open to public

Please come to kolkata and have look at our metro. 2009 east west metro line started, till the line isn't completed. And so many other construction work is pending.
