This is the project where the government should be spending money on - not the so called sky deck project which will be just another selfie point for the rich and affluent. Bangalore is in dire need of such green walkways. Great thought, beautiful teamwork and an effective documentary.
I think this is a very big step in terms of a inter - departmental effort to make something work in the city of Bengaluru. Non coordination between departments have been an issue since ages where sometimes newly laid roads get dug by various other departments for their respective work and so on. This project sort of becomes a case study for all future projects of developing the urban infrastructure and making it more people centric. Definitely looking forward to taking a stroll on the K100 once it is open to public and also hoping to see many more such projects in Namma Bengaluru in the future.
Congratulations for taking on a project such as this which is riddled with so many legacy issues. It’s not a joke to take on a ambitious project such as this
As a child of this city it really saddens me whenever people speak ill of my city. It has been very difficlt to educate my own lane residents to seperate waste and stop dumping garbage in the road. Hope such projects are taken up at all wards to reviv our Bengaluru, would like to be part of such initiatives and volunteer when possible..All the best to the team..
The engineers and the technicians on this project should be sent to study "Cheonggyecheon Stream" in Seoul, South Korea and try to implement a similar design in Bangalore.
Great efforts Pravar & Team. Proud of you. You have gone to places which ordinary people will avoid going / refuse to go. Every Bengaluru citizen must watch this fully.
Beautiful initiative by BBMP, this film should be seen by every Bangalorean the Video shows the other productive side of the BBMP - the good work of BBMP is masked by political controversies etc.The BBMP pl continue to do the good work. Let's be proud of Bangalore. ee the other si
Kudos to the govt teams. Contrary to popular thought, we have the cream in government offices, we need to create the right ambience for them to showcase their capability. K100 waterway is a proof of their capability 😍👍
this should be implemented in all the rajkalves, really happy and proud for everyone who took initiative and work proactively! And eventually all the lakes should be cleaned and restored.
Thanks to such an uplifting positive documentary amid projects which are haphazardly planned, executed and finishing dates left to the will of time. Hope lingers watching video with background score added aptly of golden classics. Great work👍🏼👏🏼
They are currently doing a project in Kalyan Nagar, near the storm water drain. The project is a walking/running path parallel to the drain and they have to stopped sewage flow quite a bit. Looking foward to see the results
My dear DK Shiva Kumar, You are a NARCISSIST PERSON. Your knowledge or gyan is to support the following policies: People know that what you do and speak. FIRST, focus on your own work and on your own delivery, which is lacking, and you never ever executed your own work. My dear , Bengaluru Development and Development Ministry ?? When Congress means a water crisis. Congress did ruled more than 60 years in KAR. Congress neverever did any plans or supporting WATER 💧 CRISIS within the city. Eg Bengaluru water crisis. During SM Krishna tenure, no rains. Dear citizens, In 2024, Already 1yr completing, but DKS only does Talks and plans . Not even a SINGLE PROJECT STARTED . NOT EVEN opening of any one PROJECT. No execution of DEVELOPMENT. He does only plans. Nothing else. He planned TUNNEL ROADS n New Bengaluru in Bidadi or Peripheral Ring Road or Development of Ramnagara n Kannakapura. Reduce the traffic issues or Development of lakes or development of others . Till now, he has not even started any kind of DEVELOPMENT work. Only talks or plans . Nothing else. Your knowledge or gyan is to support the following policies: One which you like it. 2. Which is Evil-Democracy n Evil-Governance model. It's clearly indicated and evident with ur talks. You neverever appreciated good people and good governance. Why so. You are getting angry for what reason. People know that what you do and speak.
This should set a precedent in cultivating civic awareness and action in Bengaluru. We cannot protect the local culture without allowing people to interact with public spaces and nature. ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ
Just an awesome documentary... A larger project (waterway)in North bangalore is needed.. The government should allow a Higher FSI in the CBD for a skyline of bangalore to be developed.
Looks like I am late for this video. This is wonderful initiative... But We need to educate and provide alternative for people to manage sewage also. If not they will be back to how they were.
Great documentary! Though I don't live in Bangalore, I love the city. More than anything else projects like these bring about positivity in the siloed govt departments and citizenry as a whole. However, there is the aspect of scalability though. If this project was conceived by a person on top and they took a personal interest in getting it done, then it may be a one-off. I hope I am wrong and something like this acts as a pilot and departments take initiatives themselves and do it. That is where we lack. We transform one piece of land really well when someone wants to get it done, but are never able to replicate it with the same vigour once the pressure is off
This is beautiful! I can't wait to see what it will look like once it's ready! Have there been reports yet on when it might open all the way to Koramangala?
Thanks for all the lovely work you do btw, it’s great to see like-minded folks pushing for more such public spaces and public transportation to get to these spaces.
Very good initiative for city of very high importance. But this should be a time bound process and should not be a project to mint money by politicians.
What happened to the K100 project? Is it dead? I don’t see any work happening on this even the same government which initiated this project is currently in governance.

K100 is an inspiration for all of the metropolitan cities and shows that nothing is impossible.
Proud to be a team member of k100❤ Lot more to change in future.
Thank you for your service! ❤
Hi sir, has the work started
How about Ground water recharging spots in between?. ಮದ್ಯ ಮದ್ಯ ಮಳೆ ನೀರು ಹಿಂಗು ಗುಂಡಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಲ್ವಾ?
Thank you
Congratulations k100 team work
Excellent work.
Would be great if Corporates in Bangalore & Authorities find a way to take up more projects like K100
Loved the child doing cartwheels on what was once a dreadful sight. Shows the power of what a few well meaning people can do. May the tribe increase..
Loved the retro themed Bgm in your videos man

This is very heartening to see. Brings more BBMP and BWSSB officers doing good work into the limelight.
I literally felt crying, urban sense and respect can only lead to this. Appreciate the work, please bring out the result as a best example.

Great video. Good to know that Bangalore is taking such initiatives to improve overall quality of the city.

Wow man your videos are amazing! Let's go Bengaluru! Is there a way we can support your efforts in documenting these things?
Looks like I am late for this video. This is wonderful initiative... But We need to educate and provide alternative for people to manage sewage also. If not they will be back to how they were.
More such projects to be implemented & maintained

We desperately need this in Mumbai and every city in India
I came here because blurupedestrian asked me to..
I'm not disappointed
Legend
Please make this possible for Vrishabhavathi Valley as well 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is beautiful! I can't wait to see what it will look like once it's ready! Have there been reports yet on when it might open all the way to Koramangala?
It looks like it should open in couple of months, hoping for the best 🤞🏽🤞🏽
Thanks for all the lovely work you do btw, it’s great to see like-minded folks pushing for more such public spaces and public transportation to get to these spaces.
Can we talk about the philosophy of the people responsible for the defective works 😊 a tribute video to them please.
Can you please make it in English. Many of us can't able to understand this.
Fantastic work, Pravar and team! Super informative and inspiring in many ways. Kudos 👏
Very good initiative for city of very high importance. But this should be a time bound process and should not be a project to mint money by politicians.
22:29 yes by this way atleast we follow some civic sense.
Great project if done right! I am more concerned about people polluting it by throwing garbage in fresh water.
Every city shud adopt this kind of model before it became gutter...
All departments shud come together to make city clean & to make rain harvest...
A true inspiration and insightful step from the government hope to see much more progress in various places like this in future 😊
Special special thanks 🤣🤣
Public should also coperate with government they should not throw garbage on water nice to see this
Apart from political differences there should be a learning process from Ahmedabad and Indore on waste and drainage system
Adopt rain water harvesting in every house malls private buildings government buildings to overcome water crises
What happened to the K100 project? Is it dead? I don’t see any work happening on this even the same government which initiated this project is currently in governance.
