It was the best ecomomy class flight I have ever had! Absolutely amazing! I booked this long in advance so it would be cheap, and I could get a great seat! I will make a review in a few weeks :)

It's always a pleasure to service this plane everyday. From checking in passengers to the main operation of the whole flight. This plane is the most beautiful plane that comes in and out of San Francisco. Hearing this bad boy come in is an ease to my ear every time. Barley hear the engine roaring as it taxis into gate G101. Marvelous plane, yet very good to the environment. Hope to see the 747-8 in San Francisco.

Great video, I love the way the ailerons are constantly adjusting to keep the flight steady, having just been on an A380 flight from frankfurt to Tokyo and back, I only saw the tailplane camera shot shown on board. that was good, but this is quite interesting! After takeoff I heard the flaps retracting but did not see them as I was in the wrong place!

Dan I love all of your flight videos. I can;t wait to fly on the Lufthansa A380 again on November 3rd. I flew it for the first time in August 2011 and then again in September 2011. The aircraft has to be one of my most favorite aircrafts I have ever flown on. I would say the 747 and A380 are my favorites(:

Incredible this can get off the ground. With its size and with how long it takes to get up to rotating speed, do you still feel a powerful initial acceleration when they first throttle up, like you would on a 737 or smaller jet?

Flaps are silent. Not so, their actuator motor(s). You should've heard a C-141 with actuators right above you, in the cabin. The difference actuator/flaps would be clear.
