That a380's wings are beautiful
Fantastic views of the enormous A380 wing and its giant flaps. It seems like this bird is too big to fly, but fly it does, in a very graceful way. A finely-tuned aircraft. State-of-the-art!.
If anyone is in town next weekend starting 10/4, its fleet week! Stunning views of both bridges while watching Blue Angles and the best fly over them. Awesome airshow...
This is by far the best landing video I've ever seen: Fantastic weather, great aircraft and perfect camera work.

The shortest A380 flight are currently operated in the Middle East and Asia so I'd presume they are also the cheapest! If you want a window seat you generally have to book the A380 flight pretty early! Thanks a lot man :D

Great video! It's neat to see the big, flexible wing droop downward after touchdown when it's no longer carrying the massive weight of the plane.

Myself, I've been to San Francisco once, as a kid in the summer of 1999. Seeing this beautiful town in your clip brings back those memories and definitely moves Frisco up in my priority list.

Very good video, I used to fly a lot years ago and if possible I sat just about in the same place you did, so I could watch the flaps working, and to listen to how everything sounds I watched it all because there is no music interference. Thank you. My rate is tops.

i often take lufthansa's A380 on route Frankfurt-Miami (seasonal with B747) to visit my family in ft. lauderdale... most luxurious way to fly on long-distance-flights...

The view of the golden gate bridge is great. Actually, the San Andreas Lake and Silver Crystal Reservoir at around time mark 8:36 is more breathtaking in my opinion. Knowing that the famous San Andreas Fault lies right underneath these bodies of water makes is more significant. In the next major movement of this fault line, the water may drain into the cracks. :-)
I've watched A380 landings where the plane slams onto the runway and I find it very unpleasing. This was really nice though! The smooth landing was nice to watch and I'm sure it was good to experience. lol. Also, San Fran looks gorgeous! I've never been there, but I wanna visit soon. Nice video! =)
I agree that they are loud but if you consider how fast the flaps go up and down, on a 10 hours flight it doesn't really make a differance :)
Even though I'm not an A380 fan, It was a good experience flying on it. I'll be Flying to the Philippines in 33 days from now on Korean Air on the A380 from LAX to Seoul then switch planes to a Boeing. Same in return From Seoul to LAX on the A380 again

Awesome view of the San Francisco panhandle extending from Golden Gate Park along Divisadero Street.
At 8:01 you have such a beautiful view of the Chrystal Springs Resivoir as well as the 280 freeway(Just before Highway 92)
SFO!!! i remember seeing this plane for the first time while driving by sfo..best 30 secs of my life!
You can see the "Last SF" Exit from San Francisco with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge. I go there and see the Lufthansa 380 approach SFO. I also go to Peninsula Park by the Embassy Suites in Burlingame as well as San Bruno Mountain and plane spot.

Don't you love it around 15:40 when that whole wing opens up as the spoilers deploy and you can see the runway through that big hole in the wing. Yet it all hangs together!
The B747 wing comes apart on landing in a similar fashion!

These are amongst the best passenger jet vids around. But methinks I spotted a minor error: Was the sound track synced up right during the first part? I saw the flaps extending soundlessly.
