There are a lot of different coffees to choose from so thank you very much for your video it was very helpful. I’m now a Nespresso coffee addict, I spent quite a lot of money in my hometown of reading yesterday at their flagship store . I thought sticking with the main brand. The main company for their machine was the best idea. Good enough for David Beckham and even me lol

Very helpful video for anyone interested in buying this machine. I absolutely love the Vertuo Next. What I've been using for the Alto Dolce. Or for the Alto size in general, is a jar with a handle that I use for making Caesars (Bloody Mary's) it's the perfect size to be able to add your milk or your liqueur at the end of the pour.
There arn't any settings to adjust, the machine reads the barcode on the capsules and dispenses the required amount of water - dependant on the capsule. Hope that helps :)
I tried to use the 13 oz capsule and I guess it needs to be programmed to the pod size by holding the button down. Can you show a video on how to program the pods?

I have the original line pod machine but the expensive pods are making me want a regular espresso machine that I can use beans with. The Vertuo pods are even more expensive and harder to find.
Hi everyone. I’ve just purchased a Nespresso Vertuo Next machine and need a little help about actual cup size needed. I’ve only just set the machine up today, give it a rinse cycle and then brewed my first coffee which was a Melozio pod. I read that it’s a mug sized pod so should be 230ml so used a 350ml coffee glass but had to stop the machine manually because the coffee was starting to overflow from the cup. The machine is brand new and this was literally the first (and only) cup I brewed. Is this right a 230ml pod should be filling a 350ml cup or is there something wrong ?? I’ve ordered some bigger cups and will play a little more once they arrive as I don’t want coffee all over my kitchen counter. I was wondering if anyone has an actual answer to how big cups need to be to accommodate the coffee with its extra thick foam ?? Thanks Joff 👍☕️
Depends on how strong you like your cappuccino. I personally would use the Double Espresso size. As for how much milk, again it depends on what proportion you like, but the max line in the frother is 1/2 cup.

My daughter went off to college and left her Nespresso machine here….Our Keurig broke and I’m not interested in purchasing another because I don’t think they’re making them like they used to , so my question for you is this: My husband and I will most likely not be drinking espressos etc. We like just a traditional cup of coffee that is smooth and balanced nothing strong at all. Which one of the pods would you recommend for us? Thank you😊

I loved the double espresso samples and ordered them. I think if you like it really intense you’d like diavolitto. It’s a single shot but really dark. The chiaro was delicious and so was the scuro and they are double shot.
Yes! There are coffee grounds inside the capsule and when you put water in the machine, it makes the coffee for you. It is just a very quick and simple way to make coffee. :)

Do they all have the same concentration of coffee at different sizes or are the bigger ones more like filter coffee?
The espresso will most likely have a very intense level of coffee the mugs will most likely be filler coffee

Just got the Vertup Next and none of these pods make any sense. Im not even sure what language any of this is. The most confusing system ever.
Too bad the coffee maker doesn't have a split faucet for the biggest capsules. Of course, it wouldn't be economically justified for Nestle 😅
