Princess Zelda: You'll Play Your Part (TotK & BotW Animatic)

This is by far the most ambitious video I have done yet. It took 46 hours to make, but I am very happy with how it turned out. I thought this song fit BotW/TotK Zelda very well, since she struggles with doubting herself and feeling like she can't fulfill her duty, or she doesn't know what her duty is. I took creative liberties with this video. Part of it is set soon before the Calamity, while Zelda is trying to awaken her power, while the other part is after The Imprisoning War, before the Master Sword comes to her. I thought it would be interesting to imagine the other Zelda's coming to comfort her and assure her that when the time comes, she'll play her part.

AYOOOO?!?!?! I was just revisitng some MLP stuff from my childhood and this popped up in my recommendations. I was literally JUST thinking how this song would suit BOTW Zelda. The previous Zeldas comforting BOTW Zelda just makes so much sense as well. I also love how you make Link to be Zelda's "sun" because he literally was the guiding force that lead to her awakening her powers in BOTW. Please this is so perfect and I was honestly shocked at the number of subscribers you have. Love to see more of your work in the future!!!!

Thank you so much! Yeah, I just randomly got the idea for this one night, but I am very pleased with how it turned out. Thinking about it, this Zelda has some similarities to Twilight. (Struggles with self-doubt and pursues scholarly things.) I really appreciate your comment, because this took a lot of work. MLP was a big part of my childhood, so I thought it would be cool to apply it to one of my current passions, which is Zelda.

Man, Zelda from the BOTW canon is such a tragic character. She was pressured to unlock her sealing power from an age she should’ve been innocent, had immense pressure burdened on her when the calamity arose at only seventeen, watched her father die and believed she caused the champions deaths, unlocks her sealing power only for Link to basically die after using it, seals Ganon for 100 years all by herself while waiting for Link, gets freed only to have to investigate the Gloom shortly after, watches Link get his arm ripped off by a crazy corpse, gets catapulted into the distant, distant past and find her own way home, experiences the imprisoning war firsthand and watches Sonia and Raru die and sacrifice themselves in front of her respectively, and finally consumes a secret stone to begin dragonficiation all to restore the Master Sword but lose herself in the process and then falls from the sky.
Someone get this girl some therapy 😢

I always wonder why film studios never go to TH-cam and get their animators from there. People like you have so much talent that I don't think is utilized enough. How many good animated films and series we would have if the artists here on TH-cam simply had the opportunity to bring their ideas and skills to the screen
