Hi friends! It's been awhile!
What have I been up to?? Well, I've always been a Legend of Zelda fan (grew up watching my brothers play) but only recently decided to play the games for myself. So for the past couple months I've been running the gauntlet of mainline 3D Zelda games and I have fully succumbed to the Zelink brain rot.

@@badusernameidea The Great Plateau is based off of places in Scotland so I thought it would be pretty fitting considering he comes from threre. He definitely wouldn't be British since only royal characters have that. I also don't imagine him having an American accent as that's kind of boring. I've seen him characterized as Scottish multiple times and I think it fits him the most. His canon voice is Kengo Takanishi, but since he doesn't have any lines it's fun to imagine.

Honestly, this song fits with their backgrounds so well that I thought it was completly fanmade alongside the animatic. Of course Link would act like that, he was so insecure before that he couldn't even talk.

And Zelda worrying about the situation overcoming Link not only shows what she knows about him, but also the development she has come through from his behavior at the start of their relationship. AND BOTH SHARING ONE SINGLE BRAINCELL WITH THE SILLY MOVES AND THE "deep man voice" it´s so cute. Zelda´s nervous yet quiet face when Link takes the bomb, and the WONDERFUL characterization of Link, using the gerudo outfit without any shame to bring the mood while seconds before "I´ll put out the fire my love" ...

@@hiyukee I think they didn't use it cause it would be out of character for them. They've never made a decent sequel to any of their animated films, and they were once synonymous with the "Prince Charming" trope, but have devolved into being synonymous with uber-wokeness. "Turning Red" was aimed at kids and a thinly veiled analogy of a girl going through puberty, while "Elemental" was nothing more than promotion of interracial marriage, which I'm not against, but falls flat as a concept for a family movie. This song is simply too based for them. My parents once taught me that "Love is not about finding the perfect person. It's about seeing an imperfect person perfectly", and this song is that idea incarnate. Most of it is about Christoph being upset that Anna is too far out of his league, but it ends with Anna saying she doesn't care and loves him anyways. Back in "Frozen", Christoph admitted to eating his own boogers when he claimed it was something all men did, and Anna was clearly upset that he would even suggest a prince like Han would do something so disgusting, but here she says he "already is" her perfect man, despite that.
