I struggle with a lot of mental diseases from inheritance. And when I heard this song, it really reassured me that I would find my place one day. Especially Cadence's line "You're gifted and you are strong." This song is very special to me because of that reason.
These voice actors and Daniel Ingram have SERIOUS talent. Twilight (purple) is Rebecca Schoicet, Celestia (white) is Nicole Oliver, Luna (blue) is Kazumi Evans, and Cadence (pink) is Britt Mckillip. These are all original songs, no one's ever sung them before except for the demo voices.
If you like harmonies, if you haven’t done “Hearts Strong as Horses” you should listen to that one. It’s a bit shorter than most of the MLP songs but has some pretty good harmonies in there.

i love that you picked up on the way the music+vocals support the character designs! Celestia (white pony) is the most powerful, controls the Sun and is very regal, while Luna (the dark pony) is the one with the dark past and her voice suits it so well like cool and crisp? then theres Cadence (the pink one) who is the princess of love + rules the crystal kingdom and her part is much more upbeat and her voice is so light and pretty its so reminiscent of crystals when i listen to it !! DIDNT I TELL YOU THE HARMONIES WOULD BE INCREDIBLE???? so hyped that you finally reacted to this it's such chills every single time
Seeing you geeking out about the princesses's singing put a huge smile on my face. I'm so glad you're enjoying the music from the show. People still knock the show to this day, but no one can deny, it has some amazing songs
Now that this song has been reacted to my next suggestion would probably be "Hearts as Strong as Horses" from the show or "Time to be Awesome" from the mlp movie.
I literally dropped everything when I saw this post. This is my favorite song in MLP and seeing your reaction at that swell leading into the harmony; Ugh, I almost cried. it was worth the wait ♥️ I'm so happy you finally got to hear this!
This song is actually one of the two songs in all of mlp that ever managed to genuinely give me chills, the other being How the Magic of Friendship Grows. And honestly, I'd love to see you react to that one as well. The harmonies in that one feature so many voices, and sound absolutely beautiful :3
You have to have to have to take a listen to: 1. The Smile Song (avoid "Smile HD" it is not the same thing) 2. In Your Head Like a Catchy Song (featuring Felicia Day) 3. Winter Wrap-Up 4. Art of the Dress 5. At the Gala (something of a parody of "Ever After" from Into the Woods) 6. Becoming Popular (The Pony Everypony Should Know) - which won an award 7. Apples to the Core 8. Say Goodbye to the Holiday (from the pony version of A Christmas Carol)
Oh, man. You really ought to listen to Winter Wrap-Up. It was the first "real" lyrical song in the series (not counting the horrible ones as jokes from earlier episodes). So catchy.
My personal favorite MLP song is “Luna’s future”. It’s beautiful, and has such a dark and intense tone for such a bright and colorful show. The instrumentals are so extravagant.
The seven-part-sounding three-part harmonies could be the effect barbershop quartets use when they make like "ghost notes." Its like an audible optical illusion, I forgot the technical term(s).
I love your reactions. Your praise of the composer made ME blush and giggle. I can't believe what the composer themselves would feel if they heard that. You're so nice and sweet and funny!
I recently started rewatching the entire series and I love it so much!! So many songs I had forgotten that now will be in my heart for a long time again, giving me all the fuzzy feelings!! And this one is just so powerful 😱 I love it so much
Man, seeing Luna singing brings back so much memories, this being her first ever song. I almost want to see him react to "Luna's Future" now, from A Hearth's Warming Tail
When I was younger, (even now), I find this song very pleasing and touching to listen to. At that time I didn't understand what I was meant to do and what I was going to be in the future. This song and many other MLP songs have helped me go through tough times. Songs such as "My Past Is Not Today", "Let The Rainbow Remind You", and "I Can Do It On My Own" are always songs I turn to when I"m feeling down. I also recommend these songs to react to.
I've two suggestions from MLP. First is 'You're in my head like a catchy song', a popular choice honestly, it's a pretty sappy love song, especially paired with the visuals, and the instrumental accompaniment is an acoustic guitar. Still good though. Second is 'In Our Town'. The instrumental accompaniment here is very military-inspired, but the primary reason I'm recommending it is to provide a taste of what this series can get into when it forgets it's a kids show for a while, without breaking the trend of recommending songs in the process. It's...pretty messed up if you really catch what's going on with the visuals and lyrics.
Loved your reaction! xD Been looking forward to this song c: I think my next from the show recommendation would be "The Magic Inside", "Flawless", "On My Own", and "Hearts as Strong as Horses" There are so many brony songs too that are amazing that I'm sure you'll get to in time hehe
You cannot hide codes from me, Mr. Hooman! The binary at 0:06 translated to "good, I'll be in touch." I need to look back and see what codes I missed! Great reaction! Great content! I would love to see you react to Dream's song "Mask" or you can do "Roadtrip". Always remember that you cannot hide from my ARG-ridden mind! Keep up the great work! :D
Pegasister here and this is one of my all time favorite songs from the show. It really holds up. I recommend Smile Song from MLP if you haven’t done it yet.
Bruh I think about this harmony and get shivers every time. Imagine being someone just watching the episode and suddenly they bust that out and the whole air just gets knocked out of you?? How are they doing it? Is it a very well placed three part or is there an extra subtle vocal somewhere??? WILD! Saw this in my feed and was so excited for you to get to it and was NOT disappointed!! Also, I thought I was subbed to you (I typically get your uploads in my feed) but I'm not?? Knew about you since "It's Over, Isn't It" from SU, thought I subbed around "You will Be OK" from Helluva. I was in the middle of music college around that time so your vids were things I'd use to put that stuff in some kind of practice. Thank you for your uploads!
Okay challenge time. One of the happiest songs in all of MLP:FIM is "Smile" sung by Pinkie Pie. I challenge you not to smile at all while listening to it~ (Beware HD version. Stay away from HD version)
Some family context here: Celestia, the white pony, is the prime ruler of the pony kingdom Equestria, the dark blue pony, Luna, is her younger sister. The pink pony Cadence is an adopted niece of Celestia and Luna. Twilight, the purple pony, is Celestia's apprentice, Celestia is her mentor. Cadence is married to Twilight's older brother, making them sisters-in-law. They are all princesses.
If you want to hear a villain song from MLP that can very easily send chills down your spine when you pay attention to the lyrics. “Our town” And just as a warning it seems to be based off of propaganda songs kind of style.
Loved seeing those harmonies blow your mind! One of my favorite aspects of this song is Luna telling Twilight she knows what it's like to want more and how hard it is to wait, because those aren't empty reassurances; we KNOW she truly understands from experience. When Luna felt unneeded and uncertain about her role as a princess, she didn't have the support Twilight does, and over time she grew bitter and was taken over by dark magic as you saw in Lullaby for a Princess and The Moon Rises. She and Celestia have come a long way since then, haven't they? No wonder the other princesses are so ready to rally around Twilight here; they've learned how important their support can be.
id love to see a reaction, to 'Flawless' one of my personal favorite MLP Songs, especially since I think it gives a good overview of the main characters and has a great message.
I just absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE that they gave all the lines that Princess Luna can relate to, to her. For e.g Twilight tells specifically to Luna, " I want to do all that I can " cuz that's exactly what Luna's been trying to do!!! Even though she knows she cant outshine Celestia, she still tried to find things that only SHE can do to serve her people (guarding and protecting the dream realm) Not to mention the lines " Patience is never easy, I understand wanting more" " I know how hard it is to wait, to spread your wings and soar" " We understand you wanting more" " A chance to shine, a chance to soar"
Seeing what you’ve seen, I’d recommend listening to “Smile Song” from MLP, though it is season 1 and might not be their best, the other being “Together, against the sisters” by Jaycee Row, Celica Soldream, and Princewhatever
The one I've been waiting for! I saw the scores dip on a few MLP songs, but wasn't concerned because I knew, I KNEW when this one hit, it'd be a 20+ Those harmonies got me, as did the ethereal music for Princess Celestia. For story context: The purple horse, Twilight, was just a normal unicorn who was gifted in magic. She was so gifted that she was tutored by Princess Celestia (white spiritual flying horse, practically a goddess). Princess Celestia is also the same one who banished her sister Luna (dark flying horse, also practically a goddess) to the moon for 1000 years (note: Luna is back thanks to Twilight's part in redeeming her). Twilight did some great hero things and long story short, she was granted the title of Princess by Celestia (it is earned, not passed down via generations), and turned into an alicorn (flying unicorn). But Twilight has basically zero self confidence, in large part because she didn't value friendship or socialization until very recently, so how is she supposed to be a princess of all things? More suggestions: Time to Be Awesome - MLP Movie The Magic Inside [with Lyrics] - MLP Series Stay by 4everfreebrony - Fan Song Fan the Flame by PrinceWhateverer - Fan Song
You really really really REALLY need to react to "at the gala" and "the smile song". Those songs are bucking awesome!!! The latter really brightens my day when i am depressed.
Also if Celestia gives off the vibe of Twilight's mom it is not to far off, she is Twilight's mentor and while she does have parents most of her le4ssions are from Celestia.
literally just finished watching the discord video and came to check if there were more mlp videos. you're the only person i can tolerate talking about songs and stuff. keep it up! :)

DIDNT I TELL YOU THE HARMONIES WOULD BE INCREDIBLE???? so hyped that you finally reacted to this it's such chills every single time
I remember when this episode came out, bronies went crazy that Celestia and Luna actually finally got a song
Ikr
You have to have to have to take a listen to:
1. The Smile Song (avoid "Smile HD" it is not the same thing)
2. In Your Head Like a Catchy Song (featuring Felicia Day)
3. Winter Wrap-Up
4. Art of the Dress
5. At the Gala (something of a parody of "Ever After" from Into the Woods)
6. Becoming Popular (The Pony Everypony Should Know) - which won an award
7. Apples to the Core
The instrumentals are so extravagant.
this scene takes a whole new light when you have someone like you pointing things out. loved this.
The seven-part-sounding three-part harmonies could be the effect barbershop quartets use when they make like "ghost notes." Its like an audible optical illusion, I forgot the technical term(s).
The Composer for a large Majority of the songs in this series is Daniel Ingram, he's great.
And this one is just so powerful 😱 I love it so much
this is genuinely one of my most favorite songs from the series. it's so silly but it makes me tear up every single time!
Man, seeing Luna singing brings back so much memories, this being her first ever song. I almost want to see him react to "Luna's Future" now, from A Hearth's Warming Tail
The pony you were talking about at 3:23 was Celestia and it means heavenly lol
Flawless, out on my own , Dance Magic, best friends until the end of time, hard to choose a song from G4 that isn't a winner
This song gives me goosebumps, those harmonies hit every time and it’s amazing
Loved your reaction! xD Been looking forward to this song c: I think my next from the show recommendation would be "The Magic Inside", "Flawless", "On My Own", and "Hearts as Strong as Horses"
There are so many brony songs too that are amazing that I'm sure you'll get to in time hehe
👀
@@cilm234 I haven't found any others so far. You can help me look if you want! :D
@@Starpublic94 Helping look would be irrelevant as I'm Davids editor 🤔
@@cilm234 Oh...I actually had no clue lmao Well, it is nice to meet you! :D
Loving these mlp reactions dude! Please react to ‘Brony Polka Animated - A My Little Pony Fandom Tribute’ It’s hella good man.
It's got huge weird Al energy, and if you like any of the individual sections each of them is its own full song
It’s not a song
It’s just twilite literally walking thru the series
@@BilgeRadić the irony poke is a song thay combines a bunch of fan songs together. Deffinatly a song
5:22 The composer is just *FLEXING!!!*
Daniel Ingram (the composer of the MLP songs): 💪😎
Pegasister here and this is one of my all time favorite songs from the show. It really holds up. I recommend Smile Song from MLP if you haven’t done it yet.
lets hope he wont react to the hd version of smile
@@Mr-__-Sy LMAOOO yeah my exact thought
Stay away from HD version)
clarification: "Smile HD" is a fan-made gory parody. You will (likely) not enjoy it.
Yessss i'm so glad you took this suggestion from me+others i love ur reactions ur vibes are off the charts
"One Hell of a Team" by AmaLee & Divide. Saw that someone mentioned this before and it is amazing. Inspired by Hazbin Hotel.
YEEEEES
YES
Some family context here: Celestia, the white pony, is the prime ruler of the pony kingdom Equestria, the dark blue pony, Luna, is her younger sister. The pink pony Cadence is an adopted niece of Celestia and Luna. Twilight, the purple pony, is Celestia's apprentice, Celestia is her mentor. Cadence is married to Twilight's older brother, making them sisters-in-law. They are all princesses.
If you want to hear a villain song from MLP that can very easily send chills down your spine when you pay attention to the lyrics.
“Our town”
And just as a warning it seems to be based off of propaganda songs kind of style.
You can't have a nightmare if you never dream.
I listened to this a few months before my high school graduation ceremony, and it hits differently now
One of my favorite songs from the show.
I don't know how to describe it but I just love cadence's singing voice
I just absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE that they gave all the lines that Princess Luna can relate to, to her.
For e.g
Twilight tells specifically to Luna, " I want to do all that I can "
cuz that's exactly what Luna's been trying to do!!! Even though she knows she cant outshine Celestia, she still tried to find things that only SHE can do to serve her people (guarding and protecting the dream realm)
Not to mention the lines
" Patience is never easy, I understand wanting more"
" I know how hard it is to wait, to spread your wings and soar"
" We understand you wanting more"
" A chance to shine, a chance to soar"
Seeing what you’ve seen, I’d recommend listening to “Smile Song” from MLP, though it is season 1 and might not be their best, the other being “Together, against the sisters” by Jaycee Row, Celica Soldream, and Princewhatever
5:22 Daniel ingram is a legend
At some point I recommend listening to Your in My Head Like A Catchy Song from mlp. It's short but it's one of the sweetest songs ever.
The one I've been waiting for!
I saw the scores dip on a few MLP songs, but wasn't concerned because I knew, I KNEW when this one hit, it'd be a 20+
Those harmonies got me, as did the ethereal music for Princess Celestia. For story context:
The purple horse, Twilight, was just a normal unicorn who was gifted in magic.
More suggestions:
Time to Be Awesome - MLP Movie
The Magic Inside [with Lyrics] - MLP Series
Stay by 4everfreebrony - Fan Song
Fan the Flame by PrinceWhateverer - Fan Song
You really really really REALLY need to react to "at the gala" and "the smile song". Those songs are bucking awesome!!! The latter really brightens my day when i am depressed.
this song always tears me up a bit because its subject is so relatable to so many people and it's so beautiful and well done holy cow
He already listened to all the princesses singing before and knows some of their history. Oh yea it's all comming together.
4:30 It gets to me everytime when the 3 Princesses singing to gether. Hear it many time already still give me goosebumps.
The white pony with flowey hair is Princess Celestia, she’s the princess of the sun. The navy one with flowey hair is luna
Also if Celestia gives off the vibe of Twilight's mom it is not to far off, she is Twilight's mentor and while she does have parents most of her le4ssions are from Celestia.
literally just finished watching the discord video and came to check if there were more mlp videos. you're the only person i can tolerate talking about songs and stuff. keep it up! :)
Has he reacted to Rara's song "The Magic Inside" Yet? Because if not, I high recommend it because they got a Broadway star, Lana Hall, to play the role of Rara there.
I also recommend Flawless from the show.
Thanks for this. All MLP songs are flagged for kids and the comments are blocked. I wanted to see a genuine discussion about this song and am not disappointed, as many share the view that this song is very beautiful and memorable. One of my favorites. Cadance is just out of this world in this one too. Thanks again!
You should listen to "I'm just your problem" cover by Ashe from the show Adventure time. The guitar in there is wonderful. Also, love when you do your ratings."
"What am I supposed to be doing is it gonna work out- aaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAA"
"Thank you guys"
How about Celestia’s ballad? It’s short, but sweet for sure. It sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.
