I've played Blue Stinger for years and watched several playthroughs of it and it just hit me how on the nose the name Kimura Tech is. Kimura Tech? Chimera Tech? They're researching chimeras of mammals and dinosaurs. Kimura Tech is Chimera Tech. God dammit, lol.
I've played this numerous times to try to "unlock new views" as the back of the jewel case read. One has to play it multiple times to do so as not everything can be unlocked the first time around. If memory serves, there is mad mode, big-eye mode, and swimsuit mode. Since I've played it multiple times and I know what to do, it is so frustrating watching you struggle through some parts. I think I remember that the hand gun fires under water. One thing you did that was smart is to read that there is more to get at Rat's place. I made it to Rat's without moving his wine rack and I was stuck in the game. I explored every little bit until I had no choice but to start the game over to see what I missed. I missed Rat walking away from us to give us accesses to moving the wine rack. THAT little bit was the only hint that there was a secret.
That boss fight around 5:53:00 is for the gatling gun. You have to push that boulder/rock from the side out of the way. Then go down the staircase and around the helipad killing a floor tentacle along the way. Then finally you get the gatling gun and a bunch of free ammo for it. Of course you can simply buy one if you find all of the bank cards but ganking the car crab is cheaper. And yes I have played this game an ungodly amount of times.
I remember playing this game at my big cousin house , one of my favorite games on the Dreamcast . I’m 22 I’ve played this game when i was in elementary school so i was to young to figure out the codes. My big cousin helped me beat the game. We need a remake 2020 !!!
The sound quality of the game is actually much better in the original cause it has all the echoes and depth in it, but the emulator still lacks the capability of emulating that sound properly. But hopefully they fix that soon, cause the original sound reeeeally adds the the ambience and personality of the game. It also explains why the music is so excruciatingly loud

This. This was the game I chose to pickup with my Dreamcast back then. I loved Resident Evil, so I thought why not. I beat it, since it was the only game I had, but oh my it was not good back then. I think I put more hours into the demo disc that came with the system than I did with Blue Stinger.
