But every time I missed it on the radio, nobody had the single, I had no money for the single. Nobody could help me. And TH-cam was still decades away. The song was featured on a Top Hits sampler at my cousin's, but she didn't want to lend me the record. It was crazy. Then I saw exactly this performance here on the German cult show “Disco”. Endless goosebumps. Even now, in 2025, “Baby it’s you” is still an absolute smash. The whole song structure and the crazy chorus have lost nothing, absolutely nothing, of their fascination. And then her beautiful eyes! Craziness about the style of her hair. I wanted to have a girlfriend like her - one day! And then at the end the cool guitar solo and back into the goosebumps chorus. A song for eternity! Keep rockin'!

Unfortunately no. I did manage to find a copy of it on vinyl. It was only ever released that one time on vinyl and cassette, never since as far as I have been able to determine. Bought my copy second hand of course. The recording levels on that album are too low and I have to really crank the volume on my Yamaha based Hi-fi to hear it properly. That album is crying out for a re-engineer and release on CD.
Leslie Knauer has a drop dead gorgeous powerful voice. And drop dead gorgeous beautiful body. Even today, for both.
