Honestly I wish they played up their monster hunter/monster dynamic more, especially since Wyll is basically a good guy murder hobo who goes around killing random baddies with zero chill (seriously, bring him to the Goblin camp, he cannot stop declaring our intentions to kill everyone there, its hysterical). It always seemed weird to me that he just shrugs off Ast's vampirism.... but since Ast is the fan favorite, they might have been worried about making people dislike him for it so that might be why he's so chill about it.

Do like Jaheira saying that Viconia has changed in her 100+ years in Shar’s shadow. Lotta folks are mad, saying she’d never do the things she did. But in a world where she doesn’t romance Gorion’s Ward and change alignment, I could see Shar wearing someone down over that time. More time spent in her worship, the more time you grow like her. Petty, cruel, and without remorse.
Gorian's ward? Always hated to have my character referred to in this condescending manner, as if they were a dimwitted child, back in BG1 and 2. Being raised by the meddling Harper fool, and held back and being lectured on morality and supervised by other Harpers, as if my character had been a zoo animal. Hated that background. Only the book learning acquired at Candlekeep as its sole redeeming feature. Dating Viconia in BG 1 and 2 doesn't automatically redeem her though. Takes a neutral or good player alignment.

Or even given you a gender neutral name tied to your race to minimize the number of options. One for elves and half-elves. One for humans and half-orcs and one for the small races. Less freedom to name your character but far more dignified. This was easy enough to code in the early 2000s. Sadly, the option they chose was as vile as it gets.

you can, if you just ignore the druid grove stuff and move on to act 2. Minthara still fails her quest and appears at Moonrise and Karlach won't leave because you never attacked the grove yourself. This will lock you out of fixing her engine tho since Dammon dies too, which in turn lock you out of romancing her properly, but does not really impact Karlach's ending.

@@fionashrek9351 when astarion first tells you about the scars on his back, he says they were poetry carved into his back over & over again throughout the course of a night, so 'poetry' is referring to those horrific scars (not to mention all the other horrible things that were done to him) so, it just sounds to me like she absolutely loves the fact that astarion was brutally tortured & continued to be, in various other ways, for longer than she's probably even been alive. therefore, my hatred for her will never, ever, ever end
