I know I’m a bit late asking this. How are you suppose to keep your arms dry and warm while wearing the Gabba. Is it just as simple as wearing arm warmers. If so, wouldn’t hey get soaked?
#TechQuestion I have the Canyon Lux CF SL 7.0 and would like to equip it with a dropbar. Of course I need a corresponding brake lever for this. Preinstalled is the Shimano Deore gear group M8100 with 12 gears. Can I use GRX brake levers for shifting and braking? (Even if I lose a gear in the process?) I'm not sure if the shift cable is pulled properly so that the gears shift safely. Or are there other options? Many thanks in advance and greetings from Wuppertal Tobi

Nice unboxing! Love the kit but the gibba is the most exciting piece. Recently bought my first GCN jersey and cap. Jersey was too short in the torso and new dog chewed the cap after a few months. Maybe time for replacement.

I bought the aero race product in the past and Castelli’s fit is so strange. I’m 178cm height, and 67.5kgs. A climbers build but broad shoulders. I could literally not even pull on a size Large bib short. And the size medium jersey is baggy around the waist. I have to wear small top and XL bottoms. I do not have sprinter legs.
Yes. We will be adding a Pro Training jersey and shorts to this range later in the year. We don’t know at the moment when this will be available but we will let everyone know as soon as we can.
Is sizing of this kit is towards small-ish aswell? As I recall, few years ago I tried Santini pants (or was it Castelli?) in size L, and it was too small, but other brands fit OK either M or L...
Castelli jackets tend to wear a bit small like a pro fit. Most of my Pearl Izumi kit is size M or L. I wear an XL perfetto jacket. I imagine the Gabba is sized the same.
I wear a large in mostly everything but Castelli…they seem to think that I’m the size of 2 extra large Italians. Either way, I really enjoy wearing their kit. Top shelf.
The kit is slim fitting and designed to be most comfortable in the riding position, if you prefer a more relaxed fit then size up one from your usual size

I'm getting back into cycling, and had forgotten about this till I bought bibshorts again. How in the world do you size bibshorts? I bought large based on my chest and waist measurements, but didnt take into account my longer than normal torso. The short portion fit comfortably, but I can barely get the straps over my shoulders. When it does I feel like I'm stuck in a couple of compression straps. Should I ignore bottom fit and size up a size or two, or is there a company that will make tall versions of common sizes? #askgcntech
Hi Jack, you may have to size up, but you might find that the bib straps are more comfortable in the riding position even if they're quite tight standing up.

"Super Nice" kit but not as nice imo as the original "chain globe" emblazoned kit. Only two "chain globes" (on the left sleeve and rear neck) on the aero race jersey and none on the Gabba. Over at the GCN shop you can see more clearly the subtle differences in the shades of red, one of which is obviously Team Ineos red. which to be honest i'm not sure about now. Still much better than that Assos tripe though.
My understanding is that the airflow is laminar initially, and then separates from the rider creating a wake and drag. By tripping the air and making it turbulent with a bluff body you can encourage the air to stay attached longer, decreasing the wake and drag?

it is the ineos kit only branded in GCN
The colours are similar but the design is actually quite different, we think both kits look fantastic to be honest!

Is Castelli Gabba Race Jacket waterproof? Can I wear it when it's rainy?
Goretex infinium is used by many brands like The North Face, Its water resistant not water proof, Great looking kit

a few years ago castelli changed their chamois for the worse, i like their tops though but now only use assos bottoms
