The Zojirushi SX-FSE 15oz mug is nearly the same as this except the lid provides a much more enjoyable drinking experience. Very nice aesthetics, grippy acrylic exterior, easy to hold. But the exterior seems more susceptible to scratches compared to the American brands. The Zoj lid has four pieces to it incl the gasket, which they designed a divot to make it easy to remove for cleaning. Regardless, the lid is a bit more complicated compared to the Yeti mag slider. It also has a removable loose leaf tea strainer. Personally, I really wanted to like the Zoj cup but returned it due to capacity and bc I wanted a simpler lid.

@@bottlestoconsider1147 but I take this all back-- I ultimately settled on the 16 oz Carter Move. Easy to clean, nice to drink from, and you'll almost never burn yourself. The anti-splash lid is great too because it does that job but also holds back ice if you consume soda from the cup. It's nearly too big to hold one handed, but still worth it. It's going for $30 after tax a 15% discount on Amazon rn.
The Zoj cup is nicer to hold but the lid is too finicky to clean. The pretty exterior finish seems too fragile. Mainly the downfall is the lid design that could be simplified.
The 20 oz YETI Rambler is too big and heavy to hold comfortably one handed. It's just large and not elegant.
I find that for hot beverages, it's much nicer to drink from a thin-rimmed, open cup than from a sippy cup style where it's easier to burn yourself, and you miss out on coffee aroma. The Carter Move fits the ticket.

very good review! i am trying the new HYDRO FLASK press-in lid (has a slider!, of course not 100% leakproof) on my *STANLEY 16oz adventure stackable* beer pint tumbler. i ordered the lid from amazon prime. if it doesn't fit, i'll return the item.

@@bottlestoconsider1147 it doesn't fit out of the gate (even though the dimensions are perfect), so I'm going to do some modding (sanding of plastic, and ✂️ cutting of rubber) next week. will keep you posted!
would be relevant content for an original youtube video but i am no youtuber.

Try the Klean Kanteen 16oz mug, it's better and very good insulation

I agree, I prefer those mugs as well! But I do love how the Miir fits in one's hand; I just wish it had a better lid...
