When you take a track as iconic as Purple Rain and decide you are going to put you’re own stamp on it, you know you have got to step up to the plate and deliver one hell of a performance. This my friends is one hell of a performance and then some. I can’t help thinking Prince is sat in Heaven quietly approving of this.

It helps to have talent, BUT YOU CAN DO THIS if you work very hard and belive in yourself. I don't know if you play guitar, but if you do, just imagine that in the first month(s) you had to struggle to play a chord and now YOU CAN.
I mean sure hes talented but he must have spent thousands of hours practising the instrument. I hope noone thinks that some people just grab it and make it sound this nice without training...
@@ThermyX actually training only teaches techniques, not how to have the feeling and emotion that is shown in this video......so yes some can feel their way through a song, even without lots of training...i do it all the time........

Dude, this was awesome, best regards! Prince was one of a kind indeed... he was a very underrated guitar player, Ive heard some old bootlegs and he did 17min Purple Rain versions in the old days with some amazing solos too.
I have to agree with Keith Richards' "overrated midget".
He saturates everything with delay. We've all done it to make our riffs sound more than what they are. Prince's other trick was the old 3-notes/string where if you slowed it down would sound like sh*t.

I have listened to this half a dozen times and I’m still finding little stamps of Kfir’s style and playing that goes beyond the original track, which I absolutely adore. I really do like this interpretation, and would love Kifir to come over here to Scotland to play at one of the jamming sessions we have in and around Edinburgh.
