I'm watching everything that I can find in order to setup my 250 with my only concern is that I have everything right. From the past experiences with other manufacturers this is the best of quality material and the pre filter is worth everything & more. Honestly I don't think it's possible to have a better video on the subject and I have seen a lot more than I would like to admit. Is Oase the best filter? NO. And here is why! Look at the intake tube it is just way to narrow and needs more holes. A HACK for this filter is to get a tube whose ID = the connetion OD. Drill a ton of holes along the entire length. Voila you have a filter that actually moves a great volume of water. And when you look at the wattage of the heater and compare it to the size recommended for filtration, the heater is WAY under valued. The heater also uses the old contacts method of turning on. And THAT will lead to problems should the contacts stick open or closed.
