I love promark. I have been using the 5B American hickory with nylon tips or acorn tips without nylon ever since I started drumming around 1999. I remember getting a free pair with my drum set purchase. Whether im playing traditional or matched grip, they just feel so good in your hands. I also love Gene. He is such a humble down to earth dude. One of my favorite drummers of all time.
Gene still killing it. Miss going on Twitch and watching his streams. He always had interesting stories about music and everything. Will play anything you throw at him in the chat.
The wood beaters I have a similar pair from my First Ludwig leather drive pedals I still use them to this day 40 years later . Some vintage gear is just better . I use what works best for me . Thank you Mr hoglan You are a master of your craft .

So is the album that he says is finishing up the new Dark Angel album? Is that still a secret? I thought that had been officially announced but he specifically avoids saying what it is.

I also think you’ve taken some incredible and inspiring steps to destroy a really powerful, almost demon like addiction: alcoholism. Much like music, psychedelics can be therapeutic in the right circumstances. Unfortunately many demonize natural healing or health alternatives that stray away from the big Pharma industry. Sad but true. 😮
