Let's start the NEW "Dancing Universe" Acrylic pouring Series in today's video painting tutorial. It's going to be dedicated to different beautiful cosmic and space forms: planets, galaxies, nebulas, and so much more! I am so excited to get started with it! 😍
Today I will create the first planet pour painting in this series - a beautiful abstract planet. It turned out absolutely amazing! 🌌 Such a cosmic beauty!

I'm a professional artist and teacher as well, I enjoyed this video for the way you were instructing those less experiences, including how different pigments react and dry. People can get very frustrated when they think they can't fix unwanted areas and just give up. Wonderful job, Olga. And the painting is of course gorgeous as usual!

This planet was very colorful and inventive. My only comment I will make is; I didn't mind the 1st step when the planed wasn't perfectly round, the different colors and shapes were wonderful. Keep painting Olga. Your color choices are nothing less than genius.

Do you have a regular day and time your new videos premiere? If so, when? I like to see the premieres live as it is amazing to see the artwork come to life. Well, it "feels" that way to me. i was also, but I was instantly hooked on the actual process immediately after starting the first attempt! It dried black, so I had to do a week of research, but it"s all part of the whole experience, I think!

Such beautiful work Olga! My wife and I are getting into it as well, and I am finding your channel to be a key resource in getting started! I am also big into astro-photography, so images like this give me inspiration to create with paint! I plan on creating many space-scapes, so this is perfect to get me started! Absolutely gorgeous, I love when you add glitter to the resin it just adds so much to the finished painting. If you use canvas is the resin finish too heavy for it? I'm definitely going to have to take your new course to add to the wealth of knowledge I got from your pouring course❤️
Hi Cambria ❤️ you definitely can use resin over canvas but yes there is a risk for it to puddle up in the center. Depends on
1. Quality of canvas material - how well it's stretched and how flexible is the canvas.
2. Size of canvas - the bigger the harder.
Plus it's much harder to get that perfect dome effect on the edge, and need to waste more resin.
That said, perfect resin can be achieved on canvas, but with more nuances and challenges. So imho it's better to use wood or other flat rigid surfaces.
Just jumping in here 👋.. I put a foam board behind the canvas. Not under the wood but just bumped up next to it. Add painters tape in 4 or 5 inch strips to attach to the wood (1/2 on the foam board, 1/2 on the wood)everywhere. Most the time I leave it in there for a month or so till the resin is completely cured. Remove all the tapes.. with a little bit of heat (gun) if it’s a bugger.. then reuse the foam board for another pour painting. No sag or pooling this way! Happy Arting 🌹
