Thank you both so much....I'm from West Australia and only just recently discovered fluid art ( much to my husbands support of telling me he will never get to retire because of my craft and hobbies). I have completed 4 paintings and ruined that many again. I am very isolated where I live so these you tube tutorials are my saving grace both mentally and for educating me on how to fluid paint. I still have a long way to go before I can really call myself a fluid artist but I'm sure with your video's I hopefully will master it..Once again thank you both you lift my spirits and help me empty my husbands back pocket. ❤❤
I have a house painting company and do drywall a good amount, I totally agree with the knife/spreading tip of making sure you got the right angle as opposed to pressure on the surface. That was what really helped me to be able to 2 spread/float things. Like start at a 60-70° angle and work your way to like a 30° at the end of the pull. Also only put material in the middle of the trowel/knife so it doesn't overflow off the sides, then the lower u make the angle the wider the material will get. I just started using palette knifes but to me it is very similar to plaster work, just way smaller haha

Hey Olga & Molly✨29 minutes and 7 seconds of pure Master Class ✨ Seeing you and Molly collaborate with banter, fun and smiling throughout was Priceless...... I'm looking forward to seeing you create your own series using this technique....... I thought "The Swipe's the Limit .....anything is Possible" as a title? "I love color. I love flaming reds, And vivid greens, And royal flaunting purples. I love the startled rose of the sun at dawning, And the blazing orange of it at twilight. I love color. I love the drowsy blue of the fringed gentian, And the yellow of the goldenrod, And the rich russet of the leaves That turn at autumn-time.... I love rainbows, And prisms, And the tinsel glitter Of every shop-window. I love color. And yet today, I saw a brown little bird Perched on the dull-gray fence Of a weed-filled city yard. And as I watched him The little bird Threw back his head Defiantly, almost, And sang a song That was full of gay ripples, And poignant sweetness, And half-hidden melody. I love color.... I love crimson, and azure, And the glowing purity of white. And yet today, I saw a living bit of brown, A vague oasis on a streak of gray, That brought heaven Very near to me" ............poem by Margaret E. I agree Sandy. I like tutorials the best.
I just wish the artists would put them in difficulty levels with that scribed into each video. To help us focus on what needs to be done in the beginning.
I have likely watched over 200 videos from my favourite artists. After a while the beginning actions of prepping you canvas and mixing paints gets, shall we say, a little tedious. But for beginners this is important, the recipes, prepping, and other pertinent info should be the focus.
Intermediate should deal less with that, but look further into the tried and true techniques of fluid art. With a beginning in using various easy impliments (i.e blowdryer, cups, funnels, etc).
And advanced videos might be the place for the more different and difficult techniques, without much focus on the first steps. These could include unusual mediums, chain or yarn pulls, and collabs.
Still I think people of all levels could benefit from looking at lower level videos as there's always something new to learn.
I know the vids are out there, but they would be awesome of put in those types of playlists.

That really was Jaw-Dropping!
You are most welcome, Kathie! Happy creating😉
I love that even a pro like Olga is learning. This video was AWESOME. See someone TEACHING brings up more details. Awesome. I hope you do more!!
Happy you like it, Johanne!😊
Отличное видео!!!
Such humility and friendship and joy between you ladies!

I didn't realise u didn't know this particular method Olga, it was so great to observe and learn along with u.
You two guys and Rinske too...OMG yes please ❤❤❤

Love watching you two working together 🌹🌹Molly giving more tips about using your palette knife, the thickness of the paint and all the beautiful cells Olga ♥️♥️
Happy to hear you enjoyed, Cynthia! 💖🤗
That paint is ultra dynamic, so vivid, the black gloss makes the colors pop out. I guess you can hang the canvas in any position? Looks be-u-tee-full : )
Thanks a lot, Danny! Happy you like it!😊

Hey Olga & Molly✨29 minutes and 7 seconds of pure Master Class ✨
Seeing you and Molly collaborate with banter, fun and smiling throughout was Priceless......
I'm looking forward to seeing you create your own series using this technique.......
I thought "The Swipe's the Limit .....anything is Possible" as a title?
"I love color.
I love flaming reds,
And vivid greens,
And royal flaunting purples.
I love the startled rose of the sun at dawning,
And the blazing orange of it at twilight.
I love color.
I love the drowsy blue of the fringed gentian,
And the yellow of the goldenrod,
And the rich russet of the leaves
That turn at autumn-time....
I love rainbows,
And prisms,
And the tinsel glitter
Of every shop-window.
I love color.
And yet today,
I saw a brown little bird
Perched on the dull-gray fence
Of a weed-filled city yard.
And as I watched him
The little bird
Threw back his head
Defiantly, almost,
And sang a song
That was full of gay ripples,
And poignant sweetness,
And half-hidden melody.
I love color....
I love crimson, and azure,
And the glowing purity of white.
And yet today,
I saw a living bit of brown,
A vague oasis on a streak of gray,
That brought heaven
Very near to me" ............poem by Margaret E. Sangster

This method of teaching-teaching someone else and allowing us to eavesdrop may well be the best method I’ve come across yet. I’ve completed only one pour. Now I’m going to subscribe to your channel and see if we can boost my confidence to give it another go. (I’m not an artist at all.) Thank you both! 💕
You are most welcome, Marguerite! Happy creating!😊
