- So psychedelic! This is the next acrylic pour painting in my Brightline Series! My black acrylic paint was a little too thin, but I love this concept. I do like the way this painting came out. I will do another with some thicker black.

Pouring medium for acrylic colors: US Floetrol/gloss medium and varnish (one product) mixed in a ratio of 70/30. Then mix 1 part paint to 3 parts pouring medium.
Pouring medium for swipe color: 1 part paint to ~3 parts Australian Floetrol

I love the different techniques in this and the color combinations
The artwork turned out uniquely engaging. Appreciate the organic balance achieved with the black and white, and flowing colors. They seem superimposed on top of the b/w, giving the work an intensified dimensionality. The large cells and spiderwebbing add focal emphasis. The end result is clearly successful. 🎨

If you want to try this again with a thicker black, what if you spread the colors out instead of layering them on top of each other? This way you’d get more of each color per swipe.
You think you look messy you should se my painting area & myself after I paint. I literally have paint under my smock & my clothes.
