I just bought one of these for some molding, and when I took it out of the box I was VERY intimidated, I have never used one before. Your video is perfect, it was so helpful and I got brave and did it after watching this. Thank you!
Extremely helpful! Excellent presentation. To the point with no unnecessary comments, easy to follow. I now feel confident to use this for the first time. Thanks a million.
I literally took my kids to get this and wood today to make storage bins for under my couch. No idea how it worked, so your video was very helpful! Power tools make me a little nervous, but what you said about safety features made me feel better. Looking forward to making things for around the house!
This Ryobi Airstrike 18ga 18v brad nailer seems to be one of the most popular Ryobi tools ever fall into DIYers hands. There are ladies who do craft work like building bird houses and guys who just want to talk about this very popular Ryobi tool all over TH-cam. And I like it!
I’m new to diy and only ever held a Brad nailer for the first time when I took it out of the box. This video is fantastic for a beginner 😊! Thanks for making this one
Great video!!! I just bought one and it will be my first time ever using a Brad nailer. Your tutorial has me feeling very confident and excited to tackle my first project. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you so much! I've been wanting a brad nailer for a long time, and just ordered the Ryobi 18 gauge today. You covered everything so clearly, to the point, and without a lot of unnecessary narration. Gives me the confidence to know what to expect when the tool arrives.
I'm one of those ladies that makes all sorts of things and always wanted a nailer but didn't think the compressor type was worth buying. This is perfect but I didn't know how to load the nails. Now I do, thank you! 😊
Very good instruction! Covered all of the important features; stressed safety; was articulate and detailed, yet succinct. Not a whole lot of unnecessary jocularity and commentary! My kind of presentation. Thank you!
Thank you for the very helpful information. I am also a Ryobi fan, and at 72, prefer to work smarter, not harder. I already have a set of helpful Ryobi tools and find them a good weight and size for my little old lady hands. I am planning to build a faux beam mantel cover and decided that pounding in the nails by hand was not going to be very entertaining, so purchased the nailer - good luck to me... 😱
This video helped me out tremendously. Everything that he stated was exactly right and I was able to get my projected completed the same day. Thanks for an awesome tutorial video.
On my way to get one today…I wanted to see/hear a review of this…I love Ryobi tools, and slowly building my supply…This video was really helpful with the features…👍🏽…new sub!
Thank you sir for your excellent tutorial. It is the best one. Im a visual learner, hate to read any instructions. Now Im ready for my DIY pine wood installation.
I just bought one of these and I really like it. Mine matches your nail gun except that my gun doesn't have the switch for single/multi nailing. The one I bought is the Ryobi Airstrike 18 gauge.
Thanks for that. The only thing you didn't cover - and what I was looking for - was the depth of drive adjustment wheel on the side by the nose. Found it online. Thanks though, good video other wise.
I like Ryobi products because of its multi purpose battery ecosystem, and secondly, because its cost effective for my wallet. I'm a guy that does small home DIY projects and their products gets the job done.
Unpackaged, loaded 16 guage brads and inserted 18V 3aH battery. Pressed the tool against the work surface, pulled trigger and the thing fired! Perfect, except, no nail came out. Tried over and over and nails would not come out. No jam identified. Reloaded nails. Set max pressure. There was no flashing light error. Only no nail! Many people ask about this and it is common, but it is never addressed. Help, please.
Thanks, for the info on the brad nailer, I just got mine and was just wondering about how to adjust the settings on it.... I'm not into reading the book, its easier just to watch you go through the feature on it.
Quick question, mine is 2 years old and used it only 4 times and have it at max depth and max pressure and nails are going only half way😢😢, any advice, already troubleshooting and nothing,
I recently started using this tool. As a typical hard head I unboxed it, loaded nails and put in the battery. Worked fine but your video really explained it for me. You didn’t rush through it. For the pro with 50yrs experience, I wonder if he lost the soft rubber (?) piece the mounts on the head and prevents marring?
I just bought the starter kit with the nailer in, the charger and a 5Ah battery. The nailer is still called the R18GN18, but has not got the multiple shots on this model. I wish I had known this before I ordered it. And my god this thing is heavy even without the battery, and I have yet to put a 5Ah battery on.

Thanks for watching! 😃
Thank you! The instructions that came with the nailer were unclear and lacked images or diagrams. Your video was clear, concise, and useful.
Your video was really helpful. More informative than the Ryobi corporate how-to. Thanks!
MUCH better than the Ryobi production I just watched. Thank you.

I just bought a lot of ryobi tools from an elderly neighbor down the street and pretty much all the markings are worn out, but thx this helped a lot.
Just bought one and your video helped a lot. Clear and concise!
Thank you. That solved a couple mysteries I have had with mine.
Warning! When you unlatch the top part if there’s a nail jam, keep your hands away from that area. The pressure from the spring slashed my hand
Slash mine too I took it back just gonna go with the regular old school nail and hammer! They need to warn people about that area dangerous!
@@tango0032 that's common sense.
I have the older brushed brad nailer, works just fine.
Hubby was reading the pamphlet. Complaining about the pamphlet… I Found your video, thank heavens! Thank you so much for making such a useful video🎉
This is literally the most useful Ryobi tool I own. It’s priced MUCH more reasonably than any of its competitors, and it works like a charm.
Great overview, thank you for the tutorial and calling out the small details. I just got this brad nailer this weekend.
Awesome video! I’m a subscriber to your first channel. How did I miss you have a second. I see a binge session coming!

Nice! I’m staring at your tool shelf in envy… I love Ryobi.
It’s taken a few years to build the collection. 😁

Just bought me this one yesterday, and I am diggin' it

Good basic overview. Concise is nice.

I've had my p320 since 2014 and its still nearly flawless.
The was thorough ,this was informative, you made it look so easy. Thank you for the explanation of all the features cause the manual was crap.
Ty for keeping it basic entry instructions!!!
Cuz I’m not familiar with contractors’ slang . Clear the jam/ nails go here/ my style. No music- yay 🎉

Great concise tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you, I've been terrified to use this--I've had it sitting in a closet for 2 years. I finally just used it to put up door trim.
Great straight to the point video 🕺🏾
Thank you. Any need to lubricate the gun?
When does the air cylinder need to be recharged or replaced?
Good job Fixer 2!!!
Excellent presentation and very helpful.
O I need this tool, thank you for posting. I will go get one now.
Great instructional video. I didn't have to read the manual
This the best damn simplest video !!!❤❤❤❤

Thank you so such. You got straight to the point and I love that🙌🙌
For door frame what pressure should be ??
Is there a trick to release the battery easier. My hands are small and it is almost impossible for me to get the larger battery to let go. Thank you
Love Ryobi / I have a bunch of Milwaukee M2 fuel stuff, but most of my equipment is Ryobi
I just bought the starter kit with the nailer in, the charger and a 5Ah battery. The nailer is still called the R18GN18, but has not got the multiple shots on this model. I wish I had known this before I ordered it. And my god this thing is heavy even without the battery, and I have yet to put a 5Ah battery on.

explained everything perfectly, thank you!
