Agreed. Most drivers I race against never have to think about the financial side which is a pretty big advantage on the mental side. The reality is that it’s always been that way, but it’s just more obvious now. Thankfully, I’ve had some great partners on board last year (SystemX Ceramic and Protecniq) to keep me going.
Yeah but Camerons story is proof that there are always exceptions and people who can become great without connections simply because they are rlly good Cameron is a big inspiration and someone who deserves all that he’s achieved
@@kaoskarting8666 that’s true, but even then, he had his family’s full support which is extremely rare and especially because the family did not race at all up until that point. Lewis is extremely inspirational, but I would say that his dad is equally inspirational for the insane amount of work that he put into his kids dreams. Even if the kid in a family is super talented and wants to get into racing, most families will say it is crazy and wont even consider it, so he had that going for him, but it takes so much to become a racing driver
I just started sim racing in January, and all of the worries and mistakes sound so familiar! Seeing the difference between your first race and your race at Spa was amazing as well. Love to see it. Hoping for great things ahead of you!
Thanks for the support! That’s why sim racing is a great tool. I especially like the license/SR system in iRacing because you genuinely feel a loss when mistakes are made. It’s one of the few sims where I feel the same sort of consequence as IRL racing.
Can't get over how cool it is for an actual racing driver to make content like this. Such a deep dive into the mind of a driver and its so interesting!
I am always wondering how to get into f3 I am 14 years old but don’t know what to do I live in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi where we have an f1 track but no racing schools could you give me some advice with how to start start racing I have been sim racing for about 3 years now
You are so lucky. Your dad is supporting you. My dad thinks that racing is a waste of money and time😢 i have no one to support me. Do you guys have some advice to convince my dad into karting. Thank you.
he did it because of turbo lag, nowadays if you did it the electronics would have no idea what was happening and the ERS would probably flip out and make you spin lol
@@Fred_the_1996 Note that Senna also did this even in an NA car, that method is another way of finding the grip, he's basically making the car unstable so he could find the grip. It's pretty much his way of controlling the angle of his car since he's constantly going on and off the throttle, which is making him understeer to oversteer to understeer to oversteer again. The only difference between Cameron and Ayrton was that Senna was much more quick and aggressive on the throttle.
There are two types of rookie drivers, see you lacked commitment as a rookie, I had a ton of it... in the sim at least, never raced irl. My first ever league race I went 18th to 3rd at COTA after being taken out at turn 1. I had and arguably still have too much commitment but thats the way I love to race and as long as Im not crashing, it's all good
I wish motorsport wasn't a sport for the rich. So much lost talent out there, potential legends.

So good 👍. Great story arch. It's assuring to see your early beginnings and progression

Man that was a cool race.
4:33 thats a better safety car then f1
Actually crazy good content bro big things coming your way
This was super cool! Well done on your P2! How long ago would you say you started karting prior to this race?
I thought 160 HP from an F4 car was less than F1.
That Beril Roos F2000 has 95 HP which is the same as an Aston Martin Cygnet.
Hi I’m wondering how to get to a fourmula series but don’t know where to start
I just noticed in 6:47, this was Ayrton Senna's habit back then, and it actually worked although this actually wouldn't work today

You're being a bit hard on yourself. Imagine being in a car going 100mph+ at 15, I would be deathly terrified of it
0:07 ahh yes. nostalgia
is it just me, or does your car look like the PSG Home kit from the onboard
I will be cheering for you from now on in f3.
sad that PBIR closed down
is cameron still in F3? just curious
bro is antony senna 6:48
How did you manage to become a pilot so early? Can you do a video on that?
How much sim racing experience did you have prior to this?
rest in peace palm beach international raceway :(
Do u race in f4 or f3
in nascar you can move in reaction to the driver
Is this only in America or can you also do this in europe?
Spa is in Europe
@@justvincent555 i bet he is talking about a racing school
almost anywhere but its expensive
I’m trying to get into racing but I’m not a millionaire and I’m 6foot 1inch at 15 so Idono
What are these cars called?

you're 29 years old!?!??!?!?!
I just got my national karting license
How's it going? I'm wondering since im getting into karting and hoping I will get somewhere in racing someday
I don't think the rpm gauge is working right
Nice to have money eh try running on a shoe string budget
Please don't add the stupid meme clips. Great video otherwise.
