Glad as always to see an update bud. Brownies sounds epic tbh. The ol reliable WW2 still rocking out like a boss too, hell yes! I'm on my second round of zippo collecting. First time I was young and dumb and didn't hold onto anything, now the addiction is rekindled and back with a vengeance. Customizing lighters (cheapo lighters or those with little to no collectability), and repairing to functionality oldies is now one of my favorite parts of the hobby.

Indeed I love getting old ones that don’t “work” then just fixing the insert

When I was a kid the way to measure the economy was the price of a can of Coke. A can of Coke costs $1.00 in Sydney but in Melbourne a can of Coke is a $1.30 there for Melbourne is more expensive. Or to measure inflation I would use the price of a can of Coke. In 1993 a Coke cost 80 cents then in 1994 a Coke cost $1.00 now in 2022 a Coke is $3.90. When asked what I want for a birthday or Christmas present the answer was Coke. I'm guessing you feel the same way for Zippo.

I've been collecting on and off for 4 years. The first one I bought was from the Zippo Museum gift shop in Bradford. It's one of the Bradford PA designs. I have a few older Zippos. I like those that have railroad logos on them - my dad worked for the railroad, so they interest me.

I’ve always liked them, it doesn’t matter if it’s a collectible one or not. I have some I carry and some I won’t. The price shit suck’s I remember getting my matte orange for like 14 dollars and now it’s a 23 or 24 dollar lighter. And hell yeah I’m literally smoking while watching this lol.

Yeah that’s why I’m focused on vintage ones now because the price hasn’t changed that much from 2019

Funny thing is, my most reliable zippo that I’ve had I got for free, I found it in a junk car in the junkyard. I stripped the paint off it, using your tutorial. This free zippo has worked just fine. It’s from 2016, but hey, it works. I have my uncle’s collectible zippo in a box, as well as a real Vietnam zippo. Though, for some reason, I prefer the free one, because I have nothing invested in it, except for the fuel.
    Have you tried CBD cigarettes?
