Now I'm unsure if going with the map dial was the right decision but I guess at this price range I could just get them both 😂 really love the GMT functionality since I'm traveling plenty this summer and it's also disposable enough to risk on a trip
I have plenty of Pagani's and they have never disappointed. Even their quartz watches are incredible value for money since they can be like $40 with a sapphire crystal and they use a mecha-quartz movement so they look like automatics

Nice review, i have this GMT-1758 Map version and a GMT-1693. But i found the 1693 is much well made of. It's only flaw is fixed bezel, limited dial color option. But the bracelet and clasp of 1693 is also vert strong and nice. I expected more from the 1758 but except for the NH34 movement i got disappointed to see the quality when i put the two watches together, Besides i likes the 42mm dial. of 1693. Anyway about accuracy of time keeping i still haven't noticed any specificity of 1758. Apparently both performs the same. Don't know which movement does 1693 has but as a layman i didn't notice any difference. Price of 1758 is much higher in AliExpress. I must mention that in my 1758 watch the GMT hand doesnt properly aligns up with the hour indicator but it wasn't an issue with 1693. I informed the seller about this.

Yeah sure, but how does the bezel work - if the 24 hour numerals move with the world cities?
From what I gather it just shows you how many hours you add or subtract for each city.
Nice review....just curious...how do you think Pagani compares to SteelDive or San Martin?
I have a Steeldive review coming this week. Not familiar with San Martin. My experience of Pagani Design is exceptional quality for the price. I don't know why seiko would supply the movements tbh. Only one area of letdown, the lume, which if sorted I'd say you'd need no other
Hi. The clasp does have micro adjusts, and a 5mm sweaty day extension ( a copy of rolex's on the fly adjustment system) it can be a bit stiff. One you have popped open the extension then you can access the spring bar for the micro adjust. This same clasp is on a ton of pagani design watches.

I don’t own this particular model but I do have a few with I believe the same clasp. If so, there is a wet suit extension in there that you have to pop open. Once open you then have access to those little indent micro adjustments. You wouldn’t even really know that extension is there. I happened upon it in a video from W4RK. Hope this helps

Ugh. I bought this exact model PD-1758 from AliExpress and it was dead right out of the box. Wouldn’t run even after being wound over 50x. Promptly returned and refunded.

Great looking watch apart from the cyclops. I just don't like them on any watch. I wonder how difficult it would be to remove it.
At this price you could sort the clasp, replace crystal and have almost perfection. I actually like it
