Edge of Tomorrow is a gem of a movie. It's not at all an exact adaptation, but I think it is pretty special. Give it a watch if you have the time, just don't expect it to be 1 to 1. It's more like a different take on the same concept and themes, making the movie a really interesting experience parred alongside the manga, as the movie also takes a more American perspective and I think does something with that.
I've actually been looking for some shorter manga recs recently! So this video came at pretty much the perfect time! Abara in particular is really catching my eye. I'll definitely need to check some of these out...
another really short but in my opinion one of the best short masterpieces is "Goodbye Eri" by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author of chainsaw man, check it out its freakin nuts
Dude, this video is awesome, it made me want to pick up manga again. I have a similar situation with big shows that are "good" and stuff, but damn. Thanks to you i am going to read a lot of manga tonight !
Not a short comic but i don't know if you have read the manga called "The Flowers of evil" It's a really quick read not short but quick, like the way the story is structured its really easy to read, Would love to hear your toughts on it.
All You Need to Kill was one of the first manga I read that wasn’t Naruto/Dragon Ball and definitely made me more interested in the medium - great read fs
So firstly loved your video. Secondly i did watch the tom cruise movie back when it came out. I havent read the book but i liked the film. Also if you like nihei you owe it to yourself to read wolverine snikt. Thanks for the excellent recommendations
Abara is way too short imo. It doesnt really tell enough of a story than its going for but it has some of my favorite designs from Nihei. I wish it was as long as Blame!
The movie is completly different to the manga, and ruins the entire story and characters. Really bot worth the time. You'll 100% get more if You use that hours Reading the manga, it's really good
@@kevinquigley8656 it's not Bad, but in comparison to the manga it's Bad, very Bad. If You havent read trye manga i genuently recommend it, it's a better story in all fronts.
Frankly, most of these mangas are unfortunately just stretched out for the sake of profit, so later volumes are bland or stray from what the audience came for.
Comment your favorite short manga.
edge of tomorrow is so tuff i didnt know it was based on a manga so i might have to check that out

Oh I've wanted to read that! I read his other short manga "Look Back" and loved it, so I'll probably like this one too!
One of my favorite manga that I found was Takopi's Original Sin, it is 16 chapters long, and really good.
That ones been on my list for a while!

Abara is PEAK
NIHEI MENTIONED. I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT TO BE DIGITALLY CLONED TO GO ON A NEVER ENDING QUEST TO FIND THE NET TERMINAL GENE
RAAAGGGH AND THEN I CAN'T WAIT FOR NETFLIX TO MAKE AN ADAPTATION THAT COMPLETELY MISSES THE POINT OF THE STORY 🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣

Glad you enjoyed the video! And I'll make sure to check out Nihei's Wolverine series, it looks great

Ah that's unfortunate to hear. I wish Adaptations could atleast stay faithful
I kinda liked the movie when I watched as a kid. Most people don't even know it's the live action of a manga
L take. The movie is pretty good.

My favourite one is "This gorilla will die next day"
Peak fiction, but that manga is WAY too long. Took me ages to finish
