Duskblade and Axiom Arc don't just require an assist, they require damage three seconds before the assist/kill, so with only the shield they would not proc. Also, before last patch they would not proc since then it was not Milio's, but the allies damage.
also u used the support grievous item to test if he could proc grievous, so i bet that the grievous procced off of caitlyn, not off of milio burn
@@kekwnope Chemtech Putrifier works the same as morellos, it's no longer by shielding an ally that you apply gw. "UNIQUE - PUFFCAP TOXIN: Dealing damage to enemy champions inflicts them with Grievous Wounds icon Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds."
They changed it in 13.1b.
im kinda sad that milio's passive cant proc liandry and rylai but i guess it would be VERY annoying

@@aaleven4728 depends on the enemy comp. Most of the comp you are forced to buy either kraken, stormrazor or shiv 1st item, then get ie/navori/galeforce, usually enemy comp would have 1 tank and if the tank's fed you're forced to rush armor pen items. Then people always build bt cause who doesn't want free extra ad and shit ton of lifesteal? Then cause many champs in the game can oneshot, you're forced to but survive burst items (cringebow, ga) not that we want to ignore but the item is not that viable in most cases

Most adc don't want to buy it even when it's needed anyway. Actually this is pretty helpful.
it opens up room for better items, especially for adcs. I fucking hate buying serpents fang when I play mid but i'm forced to because no one else will.@@poom323
In the preseason there might be AP version of Serpent's Fang (it's on WR first so maybe Riot will port it to PC), so Milio can buy it.
@@minhcuonghuynh2768 It's hard to put a finger on it but, WR has many things better except say fun. Like Black Cleaver for magic/ap and as u said Serp's Fang for magic/ap
Like for example League Gragas can have 0.08 CD E(with max Haste he has like nearly 3 sec CD, if he hits an enemy with E, 3 sec of CD is refunded but still has 0.08 CD). In WR Gragas E, it's capped at 1.5 CD, balanced but not fun.
I have built with Zyra at ARAM and it worked very well. Same with Milio.
AP renata with nash and berserkers is actually a really fun lane with milio
I just realized he's carrying a backpack because he's *Literally* 6 extra item slots
Imagine building collectors and you now gets to choose who will get the kill on your team

The anti-heal applied because that's how Chemtech Putrifier works. It is a support item that any support can use to give their allies anti-heal on their attacks after healing/shielding them. Should have tried with Morellonomicon.
maybe read up on it because it was changed and doesnt work that way anymore
@@MrXaoras you're right, my bad. It has been changed so it only gives the item user anti-heal.
The real question, does Zeri Q allow millio to trigger on ability damage procs like liandries and demonic?
I was curious about shurylda's, and on hit effects BotRK. also hextech alternator?

Does the 16% bonus DMG from Duskblade proc? Both Duskblade and Axiom Arc passive proc when you have a kill or assist and since you're shielding or healing the ally it already count as a assist so...
Axiom and duskblade actually say that you need to damage the champion to get the item ability. An assist should not be enough to use them.
@@Gniddu right but also the only point of this is to make your adc stronger, no one really cares about how strong the millio is and obv wouldnt be very strong with lethality items
@@micahbosman4897 The duskblade invul is pretty dang strong on milio though, specially since he's so squishy and vulnerable to being targeted by assassins and the like.

I want an ad scaling support that does little damage but would be worth to have ad items still. Duskblade would fit on that support being able to deal damage that is needed and allowing the support to quickly reposition while invulnerable.

Would triggering the passive with abilities cause it to count as ability damage for Demonic?

if so, then it could be his alternative for shurelia's since W constantly heals, passive just needs to count as helia stack

it is very good, been using it today. but it only works on the initial hit and not the tick damage, but still if you W a group of your teamates it will heal a ton

no, milio now deals his burn dmg as his own dmg. Duskblade only ehances milios damage, so his own burn only.

Hey bro there is a bug that I would like you to investigate where Kled deals 80% of normal damage while dismounted and it isn't specified anywhere and I was wondering if you could test it out

What happens to Collector's bonus gold? Does it go to Millio, the ally, or is it lost?
Rylai not activating is weird because morde's passive does apply it and demonic... But teemo's E does not apply those just like milio, I guess some passives are just less passive?
milio passive deals default damage, so it doesnt apply spell effects like rylais
Can you test this with ezreal? His q might count for all those ap items.

Im confused about the duskblade and axiom arc part of this video. Isn't Milio just receiving the intended effects from the items as he directly assisted in the kill through his shield rather than his shield interacting with the item? I see that it clearly works with collector but unless it's proccing duskblade passive % dmg I don't see how that is a noteworthy interaction at all.
If I remember correctly, axiom only works if you deal damage within 3 seconds before they die, not on assist. Don’t know about duskblade though
@@kenshiroterasaki1895the thing is that you are dealing damage through your passive. It feels intuitive to me that your effects should trigger off of Milio passive, but then again, it doesn't count as ability damage.
@@Nuvcore The whole point is that Milio's passive wasn't coded as HIS damage until this patch. So nothing was credited to Milio when an ally dealt damage with his passive. Any effect that would trigger off of Milio's passive damage wouldn't, and now it would.

Lethality milio with attack speed renata, renata passive gets proced instantly and she can use fight or die on herself while having a self peel tool and a shield, I would try this if I had friends

A lot of those lethality items are for assists too, of COURSE they work. You got an assist. The ones that function wierdly are serpents and collector.
They require direct damage its in the tool tip not assists.

@@bluefiremarkii Last i checked milios passive didn't count for his damage until this patch so it wouldn't have proced those items try again to be a smart ass. It specifies YOU doing damage which wouldn't have counted as milio doing said damage until this patch. Hence why you cant senna heal someone and proc duskblade.

Actually this is very good change. Previously there was no way you apply grevious wounds consistently and other team members had to buy it. Now it finally makes sense for Milio to buy the item.
but that item says "if you give ally a shield or heal their attacks apply grevious wounds"

I think it is written on the description, duskblade, axiom arc works is because millo shielded ally and get assist from the kill. Collector work is intended as well, cause millo passive do apply dmg, kill credit go to Caith also intended as millo passive damage from W will not get kill credit. I see no funny business here. Rylai , demonic didn't proc I think they have learnt from nami E how broken that shit is.

Both Rylai and Serylda have the exact same text - "dealing ABILITY damage" - and Milio's passive isn't coded as that, it's Default damage (which doesn't trigger/interact with most effects in the game).
there's a difference between "Spell" and "Proc"
That's why some items work, and other doesn't.

I might be wrong, but the anti heal item you chose gives you and your ally that you shield/ heal anti heal, and axiom arc gives you the ult cd reduction if you get an assist, so those are bad examples, loved the vid none the less 🙏
chemtech putrifier no longer gives allies you heal/shield the antiheal, it functions only on the support's damage
Axiom Arc requires you to deal damage. It says "Scoring a takedown against an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them". Maybe I should have emphasized this more, since it seems like many think only a kill or assist is required.
I mean wouldn't it still be considered as dealing damage since your passive on the ally deals damage to the enemy? Thus showing the damage meter for yours only in the video.@@HextechLab
@@spinninglotus7252 yes, and that is exactly what got changed this patch. Before this patch it would count as the allies damage, now it counts as Milios damage. So before, Axiom Arc would not get procced.

Duskblade and axiom are completely fine, they trigger on assists, and shielding cait gives assist. The duskblade bonus damage did not apply.
Rest looks bugged / janky.
They trigger on damage before kills/assists, not kills/assists alone.

aaah....i think the reason off all this, is because Aery, not milio passive...
Aery can interfere with this, but if you watch carefully you can see that in the case where the item was applied, either Aery hit them after the item was procced, or not at all.
After getting enough gold for testing we noticed Aery would be bad for testing, so we made sure it did not interfere.
the reason why dusk blade and axiom arc work is because the affects trigger if you get a assist (and healing allies counts as assist

So, duskblade is procked from any kind of assist and since you shield an ally, it does for fact proc the mythic passive. In the beginning the full support item was used, which wouldn t be the same if Millio had only Oblivion orb. Serpant fangs works on every champio that inflicts any kind of damage, for example I used it on Nami, when enemy had excessive shields like Ivern Lulu combo.

i mean, unsure if anyone stated it but ofc the grevious would proc at the start, u bought the support item which gives anyone u shield/heal grevious on their autos, shoulda tested with morellos instead
they changed that in 13.1b, works the same as morellos now. No longer works on shielding/healing allies.

Support grevious always applied the grevious through an ally when u shield or heal them. What. why are we acting like this is unique? Duskblade is working becuase shielding someone counts as an assist?? This is common knowledge for anyone like wut.

Putrifier was changed back in January and doesn't work like it used to; it's just a normal Oblivion Orb interaction. You're only 9 months behind in your 'common' knowledge.
And Duskblade specifically says "Scoring a takedown against an enemy champion WITHIN 3 SECONDS OF DAMAGING THEM..."

the support grievous wound item works if you shield or heal an ally so you should try again with another grievous wound item to test if it works instead

They work on damage, not on assists. Just shielding an ally won't proc Duskblade or Axiom.
The antiheal item you used applies it on shield and healing in general not because of his passive. You should've tried it with morello or chainsword.

It got reworked a time ago and doesnt work like that anymore. The putrifire now applies grievous wounds with any type of damage even auto attacks works. Thats why its working with his passive
... Yes, rylais. The item known for being applied by autoatacks and not abilities, just like frozen mallot which totally wasn't removed for turning people into ashe. Yes, perfectly showcasted by using it on an autoatacker using 0 abilities.

No, the ability it procs would not be Cait Q. The ability it procs is Milio Passive, which is an ability. And it does not matter for that if Milio's Passive is applied by an auto attack or another ability.

Well I didn't even see you try to use abilities since rylais only applies it with abilities and demonic applies it with AP dmg.. you just auto'd in this?!? Ofc purifier applies but that's because when you give buffs to someone it gives THEM anti heal.. read the items please and retry when you can understand what they say

@@Baba_Lemonade I did read it actually just to make sure that it wasn't the case. The fact it procs AD items is fine but if you read rylais or demonics.. rylais specifically mentions that it's damaging ABILITIES and not just dmg and the same goes for demonic. Because Caitlyn isn't using abilities and is just auto attacking, the won't apply. I guess putrifier did get changed but it still says "Dealing damage applies" and not "Damaging abilities apply". Of all things you guys are trying to single out it's that? Correct it properly instead of just saying that I'm wrong because it still makes sense as to why auto attacking applies GW.
