Hear me out, I bought this ridiculous little thing a few weeks ago and it's terrible...but I love it. Like many, I built my channel on the G7X II and it reminds me of those days. It makes it fun again and I find myself pulling it out of my pocket and capturing more moments. I usually shoot in 6k on the S5II or 4k on the Osmo Pocket 3 and not a single viewer has complained about the difference in quality or image and I'm using this thing in 1080p because the battery lasts forever at that resolution. Great video and good points. I think it's a terrible camera but I'm going to keep it.
I had the v10, and it was super cute but I exchanged it after a week for the DJI Pocket 3. For serious and aspiring content creation, just get the pocket 3. Suuper cute for like preteens or kids though!
You're making amazing content, thank you! Your edits are fire and information is helpful, I can't understand how you only have 340 subs, but now you've got a new one.
Hey, if it works for you, it works for you!! I hope you enjoy it! There are definitely some use cases that the V10 will be perfect for. Thanks for watching!
It's a cool little gadget but honestly better off using a phone... I think it's better to spend a little more and get the dji pocket three. Nice review 😊
I'd have to say I agree with you on most points. I personally think that the iPhones are to over sharpened with HDR, so I think cameras like this do have their place. If this camera had the same sensor as the G7Mkii I would fully endorse it. Thank you so much for watching. I appreciate it! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
The problem with this perspective is this is precisely why many get this camera in the first place--to escape the ‘cloud’ and big data corp access phones have to your memories and special images. There is something personal and safe about keeping day to day memories and images/videos on a stand-alone device that is not connected to people and places you are completely unaware of. Merging big intel devices with personal photography and videography was the biggest slap in the face to creatives.

I completely understand! That’s how I started to feel about it after the first week and the low price win wore off!
I'm glad i found your channel, top quality review
Thanks so much for watching!! I’ve got an exciting camera review coming soon.

It looks like a pretty good deal for the price. It's handy. I think I'm gonna ignore your recommendations and get one anyway.

Great review!!🎉
Thanks for watching, Paige!!
The G7x mark II does not have DPAF it is contrast detect just like the V10 and G7X Mark II.
That auld lang syne soundtrack at 3:50 is very cool, can I ask who is the artist? I bought this camera today by the way, thanks for the great review.
Epic video
Thanks for watching Rocky!!
You’re great!
Thanks for watching!
The Canon G7X Mk2 does not have dual pixel auto focus. The V10 is in many ways a cut down version of the G7X MK 3.
