I saw you on a recent podcast. 👍 I noticed that many LC folks kinda stuck in their symptom restrictions. They're waiting for some magic to happen and they will be back in no time, but it doesn't happen. Even small changes are important, but they give up when there are no big changes. A toddler will fall down a lot before it can walk properly. By giving up to try the real walking will be delayed significantly.

@@nikkileggett5695 I take 1000mg RESVERATROL & QUERCITIN everyday Am/Pm which triggers autophagy. I’ve been fasting on and off for the past 21 days. I’ve completed a 4 day, 3 day & 2 day. Each time symptoms improve afterwards and stay that way. I still have my days but I’d say I’m about 50% give or take 10% better then I was before I began fasting. It’s also important to implement 16/8, 20/4 and OMAD. Autophagy is triggered after the 17 hr mark which is when the spike protein is cleared. Let me know how it goes!
Cheers Kyle for charing this Information. I totaly agree with you, its so imortant just to be in the moment and letting go of the thoughts. This video really resonated with me. Talking about acceptance of everything, thoughts feelings, symptoms etc. I have CFS and I fear my symptoms, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. The problem is me trying to stop my symptoms and trying to stop the fear I have of them, when I can't. It's a loosing battle, and surrender is the path forward from what I heard you say, and is now making much more sense that it had in the past to me.

Do you have a video with your story of chronic illness journey? Like how you fell ill and how the timeframe was of recovery etc? I'm new to the channel
I can’t disagree with anything you’ve said here and I think it’s all helpful but not necessarily going to lead to recovery for everyone. Having looked at your Reddit posting history I found that you were still doing sports with LC. I have friends like that and they’re not nearly as sick as I am. We still don’t know what exactly is causing LC and might not ever because we live in an era where truth is so uncertain. You’re approach is very spiritual, I’m a spiritual person too but not sure everything can be solved that way. I’ve done loads of ayahuasca and meditation, cleanses and fasting… all I can say is whether I like it or not something is very broken inside my body and I’m not sure it’s fixable.
If it helps 7 weeks ago I was so sick I couldn't even use my phone without serious discomfort. Watching TV for five minutes was too much, walking more than a few steps was out of the question and hadn't done any exercise at all since June 2022. Caught covid a year ago now. Kyle's videos opened the door to recovery for me and from his channel I discovered a whole world of recovery stories and ways to recover. Everyone will have a slightly different path but I believe everyone can do this. I have been exercising for two weeks now. I have a holiday booked next Wednesday. In January I was so sick I was spending my days just staring at the ceiling and never imagined this would be possible. I don't believe individual symptoms are important because this class of illness affects everyone differently. But I believe the root of the symptoms is the same. Most people agree its a hypersensitive nervous system that's gone out of whack, I believe that's also just a symptom and it's a bit deeper than that. I first started with calming my nervous system with a looot of meditation ( like 2-3 hours a day) breath work, vagus nerve stimulation, cold showers etc. Noticed small improvements after about a week and was in a precarious but steady state of very slow improvement for a few weeks. I then learned about mindbody syndrome from Dr John Sarno's books, and later Howard Schubiner - that was when I really turned a corner and started building up the confidence to start moving and eventually exercising again. Still get some symptoms but I can function and enjoy life again and am improving every week. Crazy that it's only been 6/7 weeks since I was at my worst. Just to say, I also tried all the breathwork and meditation in the past and it didn't help. It wasn't until I changed my beliefs about recovery and understood why I was doing the meditation that it started to help Also I notice you mentioned reddit, ironically that's also where I found this channel. But once I found all the recovery websites and resources and realised i could get better I deleted reddit off my phone. I learned that reddit was making me worse. Constantly reading about other people's symptoms was making my own ones worse. Reading about people who recovered but then seeing the "I'm glad that helped but it didn't work for me" comment that would always be there was reinforcing the idea that I would be the same as the person it didn't work for etc. It did take a bit of a mindshift and the real belief I could recover before I was ready to leave that community though. In a weird way it was kind of scary, because it's a group of people who are suffering the same way as you and there's some comfort in knowing you're not alone. But overall it is absolutely detrimental to recovery imo
Hi Ariel, my reddit history might have been a bit misleading but there was a period of 1-1.5 years were I wasn't able to do any exercise and was housebound, I eventually started doing tiny amounts of exercise when my beliefs changed but I really struggled at first with loads of flare ups and crashes. What I'm sharing absolutely might not lead to full recovery for everyone but it's what helped me and what I think can help others along with them finding their own way. I too felt that recovery wasn't possible for me for a long time but I eventually realised that belief was what was keeping me stuck. Anyways thanks for sharing and wishing the best in finding your way through this 🤍
@@life.withkyle you're welcome man. I can honestly say it was your story that set me on the path to recovery, when I was at my worst as well. So thank you so much. When I'm fully recovered I will share my story too, even if it just gets one person on the path to recovery it's worth it.
@@hippatothahoppa Long message incoming... I was the same. On a daily basis brain fog was my worst symptom but also had PEM fatigue crashes and a bunch of other random stuff. To begin with the most important thing for me was really believing it was possible to get better. Once I had that believe the meditation started working. For structure, I started with guided meditations, there is a really good one on TH-cam called meditation for inflammation which has a green background. I used to do it with the sun on my face and I'd imagine the colour of the sun through my closed eyes was healing me. Also visualisation meditations were good. I also did wim hof breathing a lot which helped with my brain fog. It seemed to target the areas around my head that felt discomfort. Be careful with this one though if you decide to try it, make sure you do sitting up and also don't hold the inhalation for longer than 15 seconds. I think I gave myself tinnitus from this for holding the inhalation for like a minute each time. I feel like there should be a warning on his videos to follow it exactly as he does it. I also downloaded the prana breath app. I also completely changed my sleeping habits, so I'd be in bed at 9pm and asleep by 10-10:30 and wake up around 7am. Start my day with a guided meditation in bed and try not to look at my phone for the first 45 mins of the day except to turn on the meditation. Then I opened the window and just kind of lay in the sun and tried to empty my mind/meditate for most of the morning. My girlfriend also made me ready meals for days she wasn't here, so I didn't have to worry about food I just put them in the microwave. Completely cut out all processed foods. I used an app called repeat alarm, it set a bell to go off every 20 minutes for pacing. I'd try and break everything up into 20 minute slots. One of the few things I could do was draw. So I might draw for 20 mins, then do a guided meditation for 20 mins, then slowly play on my phone for 20 mins etc. I found the few things I could do (basically draw and very slowly play this phone game called polytopia) and just mixed this in with rest and meditation and breathwork. I also started off watching like 2 recovery stories per day at the beginning. And rewatched a few of them a few times too. I started on Raelan Agle's channel but found a few other places after. Took me about 5 days before I noticed a difference. On the 5th day I had a doctors appointment at a new hospital, brought my eye mask and ear plugs in my pocket cos I was worried the journey there might be too stimulating and made it to about lunch time without any brain fog for the first time in months. That was also a key sign that my illness wasn't what I originally believed it was. Also after a while I started using the waking up app that Kyle mentioned, which was brilliant at making me aware of my reaction to symptoms. Also worth mentioning, I was VERY bored for the first 2/3 weeks. But this forced me to do more meditation. I didn't feel bored when I was meditating. It was almost this virtuous cycle of being so unwell that I was forced to meditate, which in turn made me better, so I'd meditate more.
What I'm failing to understand is this; if there is a physical cause in the body, a virus, causing these symptoms, how does accepting the symptoms lead to healing? I'm not challenging the idea; clearly it works for people. I'm just wanting to understand. It sounds like this is more of an anxiety issue than it is a LC issue and people are conflating the two. They have emotional trauma and anxiety issues but are claiming it's due to LC. I don't meant to sound insensitive and I'm probably completely wrong, but that's the impression I get after watching numerous videos about people saying how they recovered from "LC". I've suddenly developed venous insufficiency in my legs this February. Since then, veins in my arms, hands, and lower abdomen have become bulging/prominent and bright blue in color. I'm almost certain, after browsing long haul reddit threads and seeing numerous people dealing with this exact same issue after getting Cvid, that this is a symptom of LC. It seems to be a vascular disease. How will these practices of accepting help to heal my veins. If I see my veins continuing to bulge and spread, do I literally tell myself, "I welcome this. It's ok for this to be here"? I can understand, to an extent, how this approach would work for symptoms such as fatigue and brain fog, which are likely symptoms of being stuck in a chronic fight or flight sympathetic nervous system state. But what about this vein issue? How does this work for that? I have no idea what to do about it.
Thanks for sharing this Kyle, it's helped me alot past few weeks. Unfortunately tested positive again couple days ago. But this time I have your approach to start with now.

What does it even look like to "accept a moment exactly as it is? " i almost feel I've gotten too good at accepting the symptoms and I just lay in them all day and my brain loops through the same thoughts over and over and over. Whatever the given thought is in the moment. Can certainly tell there's some limbic component. And it feels my brain is holding my body hostage. But I feel maybe I've gotten too good at accepting and I'm just giving up trying to do things to "heal myself". Or is that the acceptance? Lol

I really love this more than I can say, I appreciate your authentic sharing of your process. Are you aware that non resistance is the same thing as complete allowance? Allowance of what? The natural wellbeing of our being. That by focusing on letting go of resistance as a practice you are actually practicing allowing. Allowing the well-being that is natural. Abraham hicks teachings). The work your doing sounds very much like a very committed practice of insight meditation. Beautiful and heartfelt. You healed from the inside out. But I think the reason is because you began allowing well-being. By your releasing of resistance. It sounds like the same thing, I realise, but it is slightly different in understanding. CFS is a physical condition (medical medium books). It is caused by EBV virus that feeds on certain foods and excretes a neurotoxin. THIS Virus goes after the nervous system, it’s goal is to shut the body down, because oxygen in the blood is anti viral. The virus does not go after infection stage, it stages in the body and is triggered by different things, which feed the virus including certain foods, stress hormones, adrenaline, antibiotics, toxic & household chemicals, perfumes, chemicals.. And a high fat diet, because high fat reduces oxygen in the blood. This is the real reason why so many people are following a low fat plant based diet. They are all following this protocol. As EBV is behind many chronic health issues, not only CFS. Anthony William is the only person who understands the cause of CFS , because he has been taught by an Angel since he was 4 years old to help humanity with these chronic conditions. I think you healed yourself by letting go of resistance as you put your body in a state of allowing well-being. So it was able to heal itself from this virus. Abraham Hicks teach that when we are in a state of allowing, we fully allow the wellbeing to flow freely in our body. But either way, you are doing great work and are a great human being 🙏🦋
Can't thank you enough for pointing me to Angelo. I've had several breakthroughs (in terms of awakening) just in the past few days, and symptoms have dramatically reduced just from that (not that there is anyone to care about them). How far are you into your liberation "journey"? Still doing shadow work?
So glad you found Angelo and that his stuff resonated, he is such a powerful teacher. I honestly have no idea where I am haha, very flip floppy with some days of presence and then some days of lots of resistance and shadow stuff to work through I never had a massive awakening just lots of identify shifts and aha moments over time as I let go more and dug in more with self inquiry
@@life.withkyle the visual perception stuff he gets into is the craziest in my opinion. Love it all. Keep up the good work and again thank you so much for what you are doing!

when you were doing the activities, for example a 10 min walk. and started to feel tired or have symptoms. what did you remember? Am I okay, am I okay? or did you take breaths to show your nervous system that everything was ok?
For me what was more important was the work I was doing the rest of the time, sitting with symptoms and meditating and allowing the nervous system to process the fears, this was what then allowed me to not be overwhelmed when the symptoms would arise during activity. But it you notice yourself reacting strongly to symptoms when they arise, your approach sounds like a good place to start. Take a few deep breaths, let things settle, offer yourself some compassion, "it's ok I don't need to fight anything I can just let what's here be" and then important to work with the symptoms and not fight against them, this is the process I talk about in many of the videos. Spending time working with symptoms when sitting in a calm space when you can is really helpful because it's very easy to get overwhelmed during activity
Yes for sure. Let it out, let it flow. Let it come and go as it wants to. Just hold space for whatever needs to be felt/ released. Don't force it though, if crying happens let it happen fully, if it doesn't happen thats 100% ok
Yes it would help a lot because the discomfort really was just resisting what was here, but only when doing it authentically. Often I would remember that it helped and then do it from a place of hoping that it will get rid of the symptoms. The problem was that was still resistance. I had to truly be willing to accept and sit with whatever was in experience, and if it's fear and resistance then that's fine that's what you welcome

Did you complitely stop using ur phone and screen time to rwcover? I heard your interview that Even a podcast or reading a book was to stimulating for you?
I did drastically reduce my screen time once I was finally being honest with myself about what was keeping me stuck, I knew going on my phone wasn't helping me so I reduced it a lot and would spend that time meditating instead of distracting myself. But also don't be too hard on yourself it can be difficult so start small and build it up

This soo interesting and helpful!! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing ☺ I'm also doing brain retraining but I feel like using mindfulness meditation and radical acceptance more helpful to manage flare-ups. Eckhart Tolle's book: The power of now helped me tremendously on my recovery journey 😊 Just curious about your approach. When you did an activity (e.g., cooking a meal) and you felt symptoms coming up, did you stop that activity and immediately sat with the symptoms/ meditated or did you finish the activity while accepting symptoms and then sat with them/meditated after the activity? I'm currently experimenting with these two approaches. Would love to hear how you approached situations when symptoms came up during activities 😊
You're welcome Leah! Glad to hear you found it helpful 😊 Eckhart Tolle's work is great and very powerful, I would definitely recommend to keep exploring that I think I did a bit of both with those approaches, initially I think I would stop entirely and sit with the symptoms more and then I think later on I would more just slow down, take a few moments to feel into the body and what I was resisting and then maybe sit more afterwards, but I wouldn't worry about the specifics it sounds like you're on the right track so just do what works and feels right to you :)

Hi Kylie. Been listening a lot to what you've been saying about "crashes"... Would this be when I return to high anxiety which comes with other problems? It can take a couple of days to wash over me, followed by some "good days", when I think, "I'll never go back to that again"... famous last words.. I'm almost 12 months in and spent the first nine months exhausting all other avenues, before coming across people who had taken your sort of route. It makes sense, but boy, sure still hurts... Since taking on the sort of understanding you've incorporated, my crashes don't seem as random... I see they seem to be associated with times when I could be consciously or unconsciously "vulnerable". This week, this included getting very dizzy while doing Pilates; the fairly simple form of physical rehabilitation I've taken on. The next day I was in a shocking state. Last night I had to meet some clients, which, since this all started, I would rather hide from. I went through the process with, I think a fairly benign face.. Lots of anticipatory anxiety, and loads of symptoms after. I guess my question is, what is the best attitude to take through these "growth" events? As Im just putting these understandings into practice, It seems to me, I need to first acknowledge the fear... think that "they" are not causing it; which leaves me to feel it in my body... (big ouch). Any other attitudes you can suggest?? Robert
Hi Robert, even though I used the word I'm actually not a fan of the word crash, I think flare up is more accurate. In order to recover you will go through flare ups and it is absolutely ok. The problem with crash is it creates fear around symptoms as it makes people believe they are going backwards. So yes crash / flare up can just be the high anxiety state you mentioned, they will come and go. Sounds like you have the right idea with how to deal with them, take the time to feel into the body, notice and welcome the emotions like fear, notice any others thoughts or stories the mind is telling "oh no its happening again" "I'm never going to recover" "I was doing so well and now this" etc. All just thoughts, notice them and let them be there. Welcome the difficult sensations, notice the resistance and accept it Be really compassionate with yourself and everything in your experience during a difficult flare up, anything that comes up meet it with love and kindness "it's ok I accept you just as you are and you can be here" Give yourself space to surrender and feel That would be my advice, all the best :)

@B3l0v3d05 I recommend checking out my playlist called Interviews, it's where I've gone into the most depth about my story through talking to others
It wasn't until I changed my beliefs about recovery and understood why I was doing the meditation that it started to help
Also I notice you mentioned reddit, ironically that's also where I found this channel.
@@dotot341 Thanks for sharing dotot! So happy to hear you've found your own way and that you're able to do things again 🤗 All the best!

U tested positive for what again?

@@User98681 Thanks.
@@User98681 How many MG of each do you take?

I honestly have no idea where I am haha, very flip floppy with some days of presence and then some days of lots of resistance and shadow stuff to work through
I never had a massive awakening just lots of identify shifts and aha moments over time as I let go more and dug in more with self inquiry

when you were doing the activities, for example a 10 min walk. and started to feel tired or have symptoms. what did you remember?
Do you think it helps to let the emotions flow? As in crying do to the helplessness and guilt fear etc etc.
Yes for sure. Let it out, let it flow. Let it come and go as it wants to. Just hold space for whatever needs to be felt/ released. Don't force it though, if crying happens let it happen fully, if it doesn't happen thats 100% ok
Soo if i shut down my feelings in body , thats give more symptoms ?
My body tell more and more worse 😢i have lonlienessfeelings
For me is it because of unsafe
Do you are coach ? Can I reach you
What if the symptom is absolutely not sleeping. We need sleep to recover so it’s obvious I need to then go at it slower right?
When you were doing meditation or your 'non-resistance' practice, did you feel better afterwards?

Eckhart Tolle's book: The power of now helped me tremendously on my recovery journey 😊
Just curious about your approach.
Glad to hear you found it helpful 😊
Eckhart Tolle's work is great and very powerful, I would definitely recommend to keep exploring that
I think I did a bit of both with those approaches, initially I think I would stop entirely and sit with the symptoms more and then I think later on I would more just slow down, take a few moments to feel into the body and what I was resisting and then maybe sit more afterwards, but I wouldn't worry about the specifics it sounds like you're on the right track so just do what works and feels right to you :)

Welcome the difficult sensations, notice the resistance and accept it
Be really compassionate with yourself and everything in your experience during a difficult flare up, anything that comes up meet it with love and kindness "it's ok I accept you just as you are and you can be here"
Give yourself space to surrender and feel
That would be my advice, all the best :)
