Lost in space? Not with Hawkwind.
Otherwise known as the Dave Brock band where he steals originality and pockets rockets for himself while casting aside the visited vermin of his inspiration.
wee r Al hawk fan's Michael Moorcock wee trust
The late and wonderful Jason Stuart saw him at Two gigs in 2006 Leeds and Holmfirth a talent gone far too soon.
Next Stop PLANET AX7JL9
Not so bad, but not the Hawkwind I knew from 1982 - 1989...
WTF two keyboards ? (One of which looks like something they bought second hand off some '80's boys band), no sax?
What happened to Nik Turner, Huw Lloyd Langton, Alan Davy? The only one I recognized was Dave Brock. He hasn't changed a bit, I guess he must have been preserved by all the speed.
Well you sound like an uneducated fuck for starters... if you can't recognise Tim Blake or Richard Chadwick then you probably don't really know a lot about Hawkwind at all
What happened to Huw Lloyd Langton! !!!!!!!! He fucking died mate , as in shuffling off the mortal coil
Tim Blake plays a theremin too.
My turn to band since '72. Ha! I understand you, it's not quite the Hawkwind sound, but yet still has a lot of Hawkwind in it, me thinks.
@@tyronekelly2462 Huw did not pass away for another 5 years after this gig . This gig is from 2007 (as per the title above)
Huw had left the band back in 1988 (he did occasionaly return for speacial gigs before he passed away in 2012)
He was def the best guitarist Hawkwind ever had, and highly underated in the wider world (and one of the best singers the Hawks had imho)
Like yer bass playing dibs but not yer vox im afraid, not being nasty just saying as im hearing the same from a few others.I do wonder how the hawks audition people as bridgette was awful as a singer. Still the best band ever and ive never looked back since 84
Frank Barone terrible bass player and singer. The video, good quality and all, would be loads better if Alan Davey or any one else was playing.
I loved Bridget, thought she brought something new to space fold!
Whats wrong with him? Pretty decent in my book.
Paul King: Yes she did, but you got fed up with it though after a couple of songs, it just wasn't Hawkwind was it, eventually Alan And Richard wanted their Band Back. Come Back Ali!
Pat Feelan: Think she was a mate of Chriss Tait's and the Hippy Slags may have opened for the boys
May have been the lyceum. Can someone let me know?

DIBS HAWK pas
DIBS HAWK ; Hope you get some royalties from record sales; my mate bought the whole back catalogue off amagom last Xmas..!
i agree to a degree mr dibs but at least its out there for everyone to see and as others have said its not readily available to buy at a reasonable price. as for mr dibs position in the hawkwind hierachy, in my opinion he his up there with the best. the amount of energy he put into the live shows and his song writing on the albums he is on will be sorely missed to the same degree as only a few previous members. a true hawk!
@Aphrodite's Child i never said he did if you read the post properly.
But not too much, cause he aint been ther for too long eh?
Sorry. But I feel the need to Boycott this video.
