I volunteer at several zoos, plan on getting a degree in zoology, and regularly play planet zoo. I can safely say that Doug did everything wrong. The enclosures, feeding, enrichment, social groups and marketing was absolutely horrible. I look forward to Doug trying this again.

It is very clear in this video that Doug has never been to a zoo before, especially the part where he puts a bunch of random animals into a single exhibit
Nor has he seen a single animal other than maybe pet dogs and cats.
And refuses to feed them, give them water, or give them any toys

To be _slightly_ fair to Doug, there are animals that can co-exist together or even have a symbiotic relationship. That's a neat feature in Planet Zoo, the ability to create multi species exhibits that can work fine. None of these relationships are between carnivores and herbivores tho.

As a zookeeper, it’s so funny seeing you realize what all has to go into a zoo. Also, love Mr Big, I take care of Aldabra giant tortoises IRL and they’re great.

For when you do your yearly donation stream, you should turn on infinite money and build a 1:1 scale replica of the full zoo where Rosa is from using park maps and google maps and just go through the zoo telling stories from the times when you visited when you were younger.

I love Planet Zoo but there was a massive learning curve and I spent almost as much time watching tutorials of how to even play! Bless Doug for jumping right in without any tutorials and sticking with it!

The keepers actually can move animals but they need to be assigned to a work zone. Also, each animal has specific temperature, coverage, water, barrier, visibility, and ground composition needs. It's so funny to watch him be so confused by all this.

I've got this, I watched the video, so I swallow the rat whole, then knock out the lynx and feral wolf and on the other side I vomit out the rat. How did i do?
